    Any Thoughts?:

    Butland
    Cedric O'Shea Azpil
    Hazard Walcott Bolasie Ritchie
    Costa Rooney Deeney

    Subs: Myhill, Turner, Anya, Alderweireld

My main concern is with the poor bench (Turner and Anya)

Likely to change either Rooney or Costa for Aguero GW3 depending on Form

Cazorla is great when he plays but I'm concerned about the depth of Arsenal's midfield. Lots of choices for Wenger to choose from, so I don't know if Cazorla will get regular starting time. He has great points per game when he plays though.

Ok this is the second team I've posted, slight changes at the back.

    Cech
    Cedric -- Lescott -- Azpil
    Sterlibg -- Depay -- Hazard -- Cabaye -- Henderson
Aguero when fit, (Rooney, Costa, Kane until then) -- Lambert (possibly Adebayor if moves to Villa)
    Subs - Schwarzer -- O'shea -- 4mil sub defender -- 4.5mil sub striker

I will favour 3-5-2 but can switch to 4 at the back with O'shea depending on fixtures.

    Questions
    - I've put a lot into the midfield, is this the best way to pick up points?
    - Which striker options would you suggest of those highlighted?
    - Considering switching out Azpil for either Jagielka or Clyne, then using savings to get Chadli in for Cabaye, good move?
    - Also considering Krul in for Cech then using the 1mil to improve defence...

So much to consider, but any input is welcome.. Thanks

Need some help here, feel my attack may be a bit weak.

    GK: Fabianski/ Butland
    DF: Azpi/ Merte/ Huth/ Francis/ Target
    MF: Haz/ Ozil/ Henderson/ Erikson/ Wanyama
    FW: Rooney/ Sakho/ Pelle

I'm not sure what else to change now...

      I like Ruddy over Fabianski

Defence I'd lose one of Targett or Francis

Midfield is strong. Never sure about Eriksen or Ozil but can have great weeks!

Not too sure of the attack. Personally got Aguero and Giroud with Adebayor (assuming he joins Villa!)

Fabianski and Butland rotate well and both from good defensive sides. I share your feelings on Erikson and Ozil hopefully they'll come good haha.

Gonna transfer in Aguero around GWK4 as he won't even play first game and the next 3 are tough games. Adebayor seems like a risk to me but could well pay off if he were to move

    Hi Guys,

    Please RMT.

    GK - Ruddy / Butland
    DF - Azpi / Colocchini(Dummet if he leaves) / o'Shea / Francis / Angella
MF: Haz / Santi / Sterling / Albrighton / Ritchie
FW: Rooney / Costa / Deeney

With Bournemouth and Watford having decent opening 10 or so GWs thought I would take a punt and rotate between them pretty heavily. Intend to play 2 of the following 3 players each week (Albrighton / Ritchie/ Deeney). I am hoping they can get off to a good start and pick up some good points and value before reassessing a few weeks in. Once lineups and new players are a bit more set.

Think I have a good core group of points earners otherwise.

    Thanks in advance!

Deeney is good because your other strikers can deffo carry him if needs be.

Good use of players from lower teams.

I have the same GKs so thats good.

Solid 8/10 maybe 9 at a push! Well played bud!

De Gea is a risk because he might not be with Man United. Would rather go with Cech or Mignolet (only 5m). Cech and Mignolet are sure starters.

Consider spending less on the GKs & spend elsewhere. 4.5+4.5 or 5.5+4.0 should do. Lack of city cover. Good team otherwise

Most probably Aguero wont play in the GW1. City faces Chelsea in GW2. You might bring Rooney in place of him initially. Wally might play in Giroud's position. Adabayor is a risk imo

      Keepers are great!
Defence I dont like Francis but I'd imagine hes a sub most weeks
Midfielders I like a lot but I'd have a more reliable one in there incase.
I went to a lot of Watford games last year and Anya doesnt really play.
      Forwards are strong!
Solid team, only minor changes needed, Well done!

    Schmeichel
Baker - Cedric - Steven Taylor
    Hazard - Walcott - Depay - Wanyama
    Costa - Aguero - Deeney

    1,5 mil in the bank

Aguero's not going to be fit for the first match. 13m is too much money to sit on bench for GW1.
Also Walcott could be awesome but Arsenal's midfield is really deep. He might not play. I recommend guaranteed starters for GW1.

Upgrade your defense. Non of Baker, S Taylor, Targett is nailed on. Why saving 1.5 in the bank? At least pick someone who starts. Play Ki in place of Wanyama (more attacking role). Upgrade Deeney now & pick Aguero later

    Hola amigos,

    Please RMT:

    Mignolet | Hennessey
Azpilicueta, Koscielny, Fonte, Lescott | Ryan Bennett
Hazard, Henderson, Sigurdsson, Fabregas | King
    Giroud, Kane, Deeney

I plan to play a 3/4/3. Fonte and Lescott will rotate. King I will keep on the bench unless injuries or fixture conflicts force me to play him.

    Questions:
    1. Benteke over Giroud?
    2. Fabregas a good choice in midfield?
    3. Koscielny worthwhile this early in season before teams usually get lots of clean sheets?

    1. Danstoke82
      • 9 Years
      8 years, 9 months ago

Team looks good. My only issue with it is you have no heavy hitters up top. Are u bringing in Aguero?.

      1. Giroud could be under threat from Walcott. See if he starts tomorrow first.

      2. I wouldn't have Fabregas and Hazard in same midfield. Keep Haz but swap Fab for an Arsenal midfielder.

      3. Kosc is a good shout.

Ah didn't know that Walcott might be challenging Giroud. Thanks. Will keep that in mind.

Which Arsenal midfielder would you recommend? Ozil seems most likely to start consistently.

1 Both could start on the bench. But, Benteke > Giroud
      2. Yes, he is a good choice but you have Hazard so yo can swap Fabregas for Cazorla.

RMT /10 Been doing BPL FF for a few seasons now but this is first time doing a RMT.

I think I already have a decent team which is pretty solid imo but was looking for some possible feedback if there might be any other possible selections that might work better although I'm not currently looking to get in Aguero.

GK: Pantillimon (Fabianski) - Rotate well for majority of first half of the season.
DEF: Azpil Koscielny Fonte/Bertrand when fit (Martin - Norwich) (Alderweireld)
MID: Cazorla Milner Fabregas Depay Mane
    FWD: Benteke Pelle (Deeney)

    In Bank: £0m

Looking for general feedback if possible and any good advice that could help. Also unsure about Benteke as saw in few comments that he hadn't done particularly well since joining Liverpool.

    1. JeanC_
      • 8 Years
      8 years, 9 months ago

Defense and miedfield are good in my opinion.

I don't know if Benteke is a good choice cuz Liverpool have Benteke, Ings, Sturridge, Firmino and Balotelli.

      1. HeroHitterofHeart
        • 8 Years
        8 years, 9 months ago

Well Sturridge is out until October and Rodgers has let Balotelli decide own future and left out of tour so won't be played. I think Firmino might be played just behind striker as CF/CAM. Although as both new and settling in, he might rotate between Ings & Benteke to start with I guess.

    2. SH
      • 9 Years
      8 years, 9 months ago

Heavily invested defense. Good mid but I think Hazard is must have prospect. Light upfront. I think you should spent more on the attackers. Might squeeze some money from downgrading on of the keepers & Alderweireld.

      1. HeroHitterofHeart
        • 8 Years
        8 years, 9 months ago

True but I think Fab will get enough points to make up for missing Hazard and extra £2.5m difference I think. True about forwards I guess although have good starting fixtures. Despite weak opp, noticed Pelle also been on form pre-season. Both keepers are only £4.5m and rotate well and imo Alderweireld underrated at only £5.0m and was intending to play him quite often after first gameweek. Might downgrade one of midfielders (maybe mane) to afford a better striker. I might do Mane to Ritchie and then do Benteke to Rooney or Deeney to good £8.5m player.

    I would
    A.

    Hazard - Richie - Ramsey - Henderson
    Deeney - Costa (C) - Kane
sub: Wanyama - Fancis - Baker - Schwarzer

    B.
    Mignolet
    Ivanovic - clyne - fonte - Coleman
    Hazard - Richie - Ramsey - Henderson
    Costa - Kane
    Sub: Ighalo/Vydra - Wanyama - Baker - Schwarzer
    bank: 0

    C.
    Pantilimon
    Ivanovic - clyne - fonte
    Hazard - Richie - Ramsey - Henderson
    Aguero - Benteke - Kane
Sub: Francis - Wanyama - Baker - Schwarzer

Targett will be benched soon. You might get 2 nailed on 4.5 priced deenders who rotates well in place of Clyne+Targett. I would have picked Cazorla/Ozil over Ramsey. Though Sinclair just grabbed a hatrick, i m not much sure about him. Good overall

Strong all over, I think Palace will do well this season following their summer signings so far and the return of Alan Pardew so Ward could be a bargain. Not to sure about Benteke linking up with Cout & Firm tho, could also be rotated with Ings for the first few weeks.

    RMT please

    3-4-3
    Schmeichel (Schwarzer)
    Azpilicueta Cédric (O'Shea/Bradsley/Targett)
    Hazard Silva Cazorlo Ritchie (Anya)
    Costa Rooney Wilson

I want to invest heavily on the attackers & thus spent only 8.5£ on the GKs. For that I am also thinking of having a 4.0 priced defender. Initially I have selected Targett but will change him later for whoever gets a start. In order to bring Aguero in place of Costa I will downgrade Silva to Mane at GW3.

    1) My main concern is about which 4.5 priced defenders to pick for rotation.
    2) Any better midfielder suggestions in place of Mane+Ritchie (Budget 14£)
    3) Overall comment

As a fan of a championship side who I follow quite a bit (mainly on the road) I feel quite well equipped to give people an insight into the three promoted sides and a few players beyond the obvious to keep your eyes peeled on. I'll start with Bournemouth and add others in time.

Bournemouth:- Obviously scored goals for fun at times (98 all told) with Wilson (20) Kermogant (15) Ritchie (15) Pugh and Arter (9 each) chipping in. First hand experience Wilson is the real deal and will play at with respect a greater level/better side in future but for FPL purposes Kermogant is every bit as likely to do well haven't looked at prices as yet but if he's cheaper I'd be tempted over Wilson with some set piece duties he can be something of a specialist. Again from midfield I'd look close at Arter who ended the season in style as alternative to Ritchie. I'd avoid defence personally although Steve Cook managed 5 goals from back in league. Team tended to be very settled - Boruc- Daniels/Cook/Elphick/Francis-Pugh/Arter/Surman/Ritchie-Kermogant/Wilson (4/4/2) can't see huge changes unless system changes but Josh King could push Pugh hard for a place and Distin adds experience at back.

I'm planning on 3-4-3 to start with and £5m in the bank to bring Aguero into my team in place of Lukaku from game week 4 and I might downgrade Van Aanholt to a 4.5 Sunderland defender once I know who is starting in central defence.

    Azpil / Cedric / Ward / Richards / Mings

    Walcott / Yaya / Hazard / Tadic / Fletcher

    Rooney / Kane / Sakho

RMT please guys. I would most like to know if there are any rotation risk or injury concerns within my squad that I have overlooked. Thanks.

I do not get the negativity attached to a 4.0m defender in this video. He's there because he's the cheapest player in the game not because he's going to play. I am never going to play 5 defenders and if injury/rotation/suspension conspire against me and he's part of the playing 11 then tough. I do not see my self using the bench boost chip any time soon so random 4.0m makes a lot of sense to me.

Hello guys! Just a few days away before kick off. Good luck to all!! Do you mind RMT...please 🙂

    GK - Krul/Butland
    DF - Azpilicueta/Mertesacker/Cedric/Huth/Simpson
    MD - Hazard/Sterling/Ritchie/Depay/Tadic
    ST - Pelle/Rooney/Wilson(BOU)

IMO...it looks like a good team. But maybe some of you can see something I don't. Do comment. Thanks guys!

I've spent far too long thinking about the initial selection, but feel I've got it down to two possibilities! Any thoughts welcome!

    Team 1:

    Butland
    Mertesacker / Ivanovic / Coleman
    Chamberlain / Depay / Sterling / Hazard
    Wilson / Benteke / Rooney

    Subs: Speroni, Targett, Andreu, Ward

    ***

    Team 2:

    Butland
    Coates / Azpilicueta / Ward
    Walcott / Sterling / Depay / Hazard
    Wilson / Benteke / Rooney

    Subs: Speroni, Targett, Andreu, Alderwiereld

    Cheers!

Looks good - I'd go for 2, on the basis I'm not convinced Chamberlain will hold down regular starting spot
