Just minutes after the final whistle blew on Gameweek 21, Jonty, Andy and myself braved the airwaves to pick the bones out of our meagre midweek tallies.

Brought back down to earth by a decidedly lacklustre floodlit affair, we rouse ourselves to debate the Aguero armband, the rapidly increasing speed of the Payet bandwagon and the theories behind the stuttering United backline.

We even make our dedication to the departed David Bowie, before quickly ushering out our disappointment of the Gameweek just past by previewing the one that lies ahead.

      Not tempted to go Mahrez > Payet? I know Silva hasn't been returning the points lately but his stats are good and De Bruyne looked hopeless - maybe burnout? (He said optimistically...)

        TBH I have been saying this for two/three weeks and he keeps returning blanks..you have to go with form and he's out of it!Mahrez/KDB have the potential to score two goals Silva at the min doesn't I don't think??

    Started the season(and ruined my season start cause of it) with Schmeichel + Hennessey and now i'm considering going with them again 😆 .. Leicester are 2nd in the league in mid jan and their defense has looked brilliant of late. Schmeichel looks a bargain @4.5.. it's a shame this has happened 3 months late though 🙁

      Their upturn in defence has coincided with their "difficult fixtures too". I'll likely go Myhill > Schmeichel or Francis > Simpson

    Hope swansea dont play 352 like tottenham and southampton did.

    Q1 - Who to bench?
    Ozil, Ali, Kane, Lukaku
    Thinking of benching Ozil for this GW - away at Stoke isn't easy plus he looked jaded vs LFC without carzola pulling the strings he didn't get much delivery.
    Open to benching Ali, Kane or Lukaku though.

    I am 25 points the leader so need a differential.
    Firmino and Payet are the differential.

    Q2: Captain
    Torn on who to captain atm its C- Payet and VC Firmino.
    Sunderland have been more so Kane also an option or Toby - safer option.
    Any advice?

      Stick with Ozil bench and captain Kane imo. Sunderland may have improved in attack due to change of formation but they are still conceding goals.

      I'm gonna play Ozil over Alli if Sanchez is back, so Ozil could have better chance for returns with the chiliean back. To bench Bellerin is madness imho.. the lad hits his best form and as I said if Alexis is on the pitch this is one more chance for him to deliver 🙂 Kane/Payet or Kun for captain

        Is Rudd nailed? I'm worried that Ruddy may come back in soon, and very slightly worried that Hennessey may be under threat after his midweek howler.
