Euro 2016

Set Piece Takers Updated

With just over 24 hours left until France and Romania get Euro 2016 underway tomorrow evening, we’ve freshened up our Set Piece Takers tab with the summer tournament in mind.

We’ve delved into the international data in our members statistics, which, as revealed last week, takes in not only all of the Qualifying Rounds and the last 12 months of international friendlies but will also include the data from the tournament itself.

This should help Fantasy managers get a handle on those players likely to be issued dead-ball duties by their respective nations and could be particularly handy for those playing the DraftKings game, which is somewhat weighted in favour of those likely to supply plenty of crosses.

The new table comprises all 24 qualifiers from Groups A-F and will, when applicable, be updated on a daily basis to address any changes to free-kick, corner kick and penalty takers as the action unfolds right up until the final in the Stade de France on July 10.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Where (site, app) can we see the latest lineups just to alter teams just before the start?

At what time will they be visible?

I think Cesc is safe, training was with Busquets, iniesta and Cesc forming the midfield,, but there is huge pressure from media and fans to drop Cesc and play Koke instead... so if he doesnt perform well in 1st match then koke could possibly take his spot

For the first set of fixtures only (because I'm going to WC after)

    A) Silva (v Czech Republic)
    or
    B)KdB (v Italy)

    1) Nolito (v Czech Republic)
    or
    2) Quaresma (v Iceland)

Have to say that this is the best time that I can choose. Good cover for captain each day and 3 portugal players picked as they have the easiest group.
    What do you think guys?

    Patricio / (4.0)
    Juanfran / Pepe / Rami / (Denayer / Lindelof )
    Alli / Fabregas / Payet / Ozil / (Stanciu)
    Ronaldo / Muller / Giroud

    Any flaws there?

Pepe is a red card walking. I wouldn't use double Portugal defences. Ditch Pepe for Glik or Dragovic.

But if a player gets substituted he loses all the points he gained from the match according to the fantasy rules. So Payet is risky.

Lets say a defender scores 0 points first day. Then there is no risk related to sub him out for one bench players? (Neglecting the risk for negative score). It is then smart to always have the players that play first in the starting 11?

Nearly there now. Any obvious mistakes? Doubling up on the german defence is too good of an opportunity to miss with them being so cheap.

    Patricio Kozaclik

    Hector Dier Juanfran Denayer Howeded

    Alli Hamsik Payet Stanclu Perisic

    Ronaldo Bale Milik

Hamsik does not have the best ppm. Would consider another option.

Hamsik is in an easier group than Konoplyanka and is more likely to qualify out of the group.

Defences are worse in Kono's group imo and its irrelevant who will qualify as we have a WC for last 16.

I wouldn't, simply because he plays on the last day and not even the first game of the last day (to at least know if he is starting) - you may end up substituting a 2-3 points player for him and see him get a 0!
