The Round of 16 is concluded today with a couple more fixtures for Fantasy managers to consider.

First up at 5pm, Italy take on Spain for the right to meet Germany in the quarter-finals.

Both sides will be looking to bounce back from respective defeats to Republic of Ireland and Croatia in the final round of group matches.

Having swept aside Belgium and Sweden in their first couple of fixtures, Antonio Conte’s men will be confident of overcoming the defending champions, though will need to make do without the injured Antonio Candreva this afternoon.

The stats are somewhat in Spain’s favour for this one, though. Despite scoring just once more than The Azzurri so far, Vicente del Bosque’s side fired more than double the number of attempts on goal (51 to 25) and have allowed their opponents just 27 attempts on goal compared to Italy’s 34.

    Apart from winning the award, it's to hard to argue Mkhitaryan not being the best player in the Bundesliga last year, guy was simply incredible. Very gifted midfielder & creator on the flank. He's been class for a few years now, but finally played to his fullest last season. The fast pace, high-tempo Dortmund style really suited his play.

    I do wonder what sort of system Mou will run & how he'll get the most out of him, Mkhi's a winger, mainly played on the right flank fwiw. Hopefully Mou won't be as risk-averse as LvG here.

    He had one of the best creative seasons since 2010 out of the big 5 leagues. His xGA (expected assists) tells more of the sorry though.

        No, Mkhitaryan was the best player in the league.

        Only player who out-performed him was Douglas Costa for the first half of the season.

        All good seasons, same with Aube, Hummels was better this season than Boateng though (bigtime). Mkhi's was robbed of the award imo, really can't emphasize enough how big of an impact he had. Tuchel did wonders moving him to the right,

        Thirty-one league games, and managed to score ten goals and contribute twenty assists. One assist less then KdB's credible season before he left.
