We continue our series of members’ articles, which review the numbers behind the 2015/16 season, with a look at Southampton.

To get underway, we assess the Saints’ team statistics in Ronald Koeman’s final year in charge and compare them to the rest of Premier League, before analysing their first-team squad, main goal threats and creative sources in an attempt to gain insight on their prospects for the upcoming campaign.

The Saints finished in sixth position after embarking on a superb run of form that harvested seven wins and a draw in the final nine league fixtures.

    Is there an easy way to open pages in new tabs on the new site?

    I ctrl click something and it just opens in the same tab.

    This will be frustrating when scanning mini league / top 100 teams during the season.

      Way too much money upfront, especially with Costa possibly going back to Atletico. I also think Jakupovic is a terrible choice, horrible fixtures and with Foster you'd want someone who can rotate a little.
