Overthinking? It’s what we do – don’t dare ask us to stop.

Particularly now that our heads are swimming with thoughts of blank and double Gameweeks. All those variables, all that planning and strategising: we’re in our element.

Once again, thanks to another bout of community questions, Jonty and Andy join me for another ScoutCast dominated by chatter surrounding our tactics and transfers approaching the missing fixtures.

We break off to nominate the new Premier League whipping boys, while we ponder whether to proclaim Sigurdsson as “essential”, revisit Coleman vs Baines and assess whether the blanks are reason enough to be rid of Alexis Sanchez.

For my money, that’s one decision that requires very little thinking.

    It might be the worst idea but it certainly seems sensible and would love to have views on what you prefer

    Please can someone have a look at my plans till GW 28. I'll have 9 players for that week while keeping Ibra, Alli, Sanchez, Costa, 1 def having at least 1 DGW. Crucial transfers in GW 25 only. The rest just make playable defence.

    Ibra, Anichebe, Aguero

    GW 24: Save
    GW 25: Aguero + Hazard + Anichebe to Costa + Lukaku + Siggy (-4)
    GW 26: Holebas to Robertson
    GW 27: Amat to Naughton
    GW 28: PVA/ Ward to Smith/ Francis

      Plans that are advanced will always need to change

      Best off just playing a couple of GWs ahead

        Thanks. Yes, only GW 25 transfers are crucial as I mentioned. Those planned ones for 25-28 can change or not done as they are just cheap defenders to cheap defenders.

        I'll be keeping Costa, Alli, Ibra, Sanchez all along. Everton (Lukaku, Coleman) play Hull at home in GW 29. The team will be in good shape.

    Rose: If as expected about a month I guess he needs out next?
    Chambers: Maybe ok this week, so probably next, so keep I think)
    Sanchez: Everyone seems to be selling, think I might keep for blanks though as got him for 10.9
    Aguero: Who knows? Hows he in my team?!

    Ideally, if like to save transfer before wk 25 to have 2x after FA cup games are played before week 26, to use 2x FT to plan for wk 28. Can this team cope with doing that?!
