Excess baggage checked in, deckchairs reserved and sun block applied – the Scoutcast team are all ready to hit the beach.

Smack in the middle of Gameweek 37, with points flowing from all angles, not even Hal Robson Kanu’s late goal can upset the pre-vacation mood.

Stringing five men across the midfield, Luke and Az join Jonty, Andy and myself for a bumper end of season episode as we tackle another volley of questions from you, the community.

We conduct a post-mortem on the flurry of chips, weigh up the Gameweek 38 punts, put together our final day Wildcard XI and take a look back on our own personal highs and lows of a topsy-turvy season.

After 128 minutes of that lot and sunstroke already setting in, we even forget to chat captains and transfers come the end, only to make amends later.

    Kane and Davioes hauls helped me make up a 50pt deficit on 2nd place in my ML. We go into GW38 on level terms with 110 quid difference in money from 2-3. Each with 1 FT

    Inside 100k GR for 5 weeks in a row. Up 1,050,000 OR in those 5GWs. Reduced ML deficit by 92 in that time too.

    But I think the extra 82pts is a bit too much to make up. Game overrrrr

    Did a -16 hit for 5 transfers. My ML rival laughed and said I already had an uphill battle before I started. Got 183 in the end but 168 after the hit. Technically just from 13 players as Gabbi 0 and Benalouane 1. Gone up 180k since end of GW36 - 373k to 193k! 17k in the GW too. Well chuffed! Thank you Kane San(c)hez and Jesus - got me over a 100 Pts between them! I'm still gutted I didn't get a 200 but 183 (-16) is ok right?

      If players are level on points, fewer transfers mean a higher OR. If you don't feel you're improving your team (including the bench), then not doing anything could give you an extra boost in rank.
