Careering out of the international break at speed, the ScoutCast returns in anticipation of a turning point in our seasons.

We’ve been chattering for several weeks on the much anticipated “fixture swing”, and now we’re all set to put ourselves at its mercy.

What does it mean for our Fantasy line-ups?

In truth, with multiple transfers and Wildcards at our disposal, Jonty, Andy, Luke and myself started this latest episode still seeking our own answers. Over almost 90 minutes and with your community questions providing the steer, we do our best to reach some conclusions.

We weigh up Manchester United exit plans, Liverpool’s blunted attack and Jamie Vardy’s recuperation techniques, before previewing Gameweek 8 in the usual hap-hazard style.

    Which option sounds the best?

    A: Alonso, Cedric, Wimmer
    B: Azpi, Cedric, Choupo
    C: Luiz, Otamendi, Choupo

    Wimmer/CM would act as a rotation with Ward. I reaaaly want Alonso but C looks the best on paper, right?

        Even from center back? Alonso is only 0.4 more playing much higher.

          Look at the numbers so far. Azpi getting assists and bps. Bigger threat this year. Alonso not worth 0.4m more in my opinion. Hasnt had any set piece opportunities either.

      This is the conundrum. To be or not to be. I have being pondering the same myself. At the moment I am on hold. My rational being that I already own two city and I may want aguero next week as rumour has it that he may be fit. That would mean a (-4) shifting a city player for him. Decisions decisions decisions.

          Silva, Sterling, Sane. Probably avoiding Kun and not keen on Jesus. But in including those 2: Kun, Silva, Sterling, Sane, Jesus. The latter is last because he takes up a captains spot that could go to Morata for e.g. and is an unreliable captain, plus trumped by the others when it comes to ppm
