The ScoutCast – Episode 260 – Pacesetter

The ScoutCast crew are joined by the current Fantasy Premier League pacesetter in this latest episode, as world number one Bharat Dhody drops by.

With ice flowing through his veins, Bharat risks the curse that has seen us dent the title tilt for previous top-ranked managers to join myself, Jonty, Andy and Az for a ScoutCast season highlight.

Inevitably, the four of us are a little star-struck, but in between our desperate attempts to convince Bharat to keep his cards close to his chest, we put his season and current mindset under scrutiny.

Elsewhere, your community questions lead us by the hand as we assess Harry Kane’s updated application for the Triple Captain role, review the merits of a Mohamed Salah exit plan and scratch around for Double Gameweek differentials.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday evening. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    DDG
    Morgan - Christensen - Naughton
    Alli - Sterling - Gross - Willian
    Kane - Vardy - Jesus

Bench: Ryan, Gud, Tark and Lowton.

    0.9M ITB and 0FT.

What are my best options here? Gross out for a 6.8M? Ramsey and Tadic the stand out options..?

7k overall and quite tight in my cash leagues so hits are costly at this point..

Already taken -8 (Bailly, Mahrez, Vardy > Bednarek, Sterling, Jesus). Would you move on Willian for a further -4, or hold?

    A. Willian > Arnautovic/Ramsey
    B. Hold

    DDG
    Vertonghen, Morgan, Bednarek
    Salah, Sterling, Son, Willian, Gross

The odds of getting back the -4 and more are fairly good I'd say. I'm going -4 wilian to Ramsey or arnie..... just got to decide which one

This is from the same article fro which the squad was out.

"A number of United players - and Mourinho - were not spotted boarding the plane by photographers but it is assumed the Portuguese and the remaining playing staff will link up with the rest of the squad."

So hold your horses. Sanchez, Valencia and Matic may still feature. Wait till the end, we'll surely get more confirmed details.

For my team there is no good midfield option to enable the Jesus move, so I'm considering it. Means captaining Kane or Sterling with no Jesus of course.

          • 8 Years

Not a bad position to be in. People talk about Sterling being benched but Jesus can easily be benched with Sterling as False 9 as well.

    2. Bunk Moreland
      • 8 Years
      6 years, 5 days ago

Not mental, but Jesus is an extremely good option with Kun out injured. KdB has played more this campaign than anyone and with the world cup coming up + Silva, Fernandinho, YYT and Gundogan fit, I could see him getting a rest. Jesus has played a lot less and has less competition.

There is a lot of talk of dumping William after he was dropped last week. Don't we think that might mean he was rested so a better chance of playing the next two? Or does the change in formation mean we need to sell?

If so, which move is best?
