Suspended Sanchez most-owned asset for Poland v Colombia

The most popular World Cup Fantasy asset in Poland v Colombia won’t actually feature in the match.

That’s because Carlos Sanchez (£4.5m), owned by 14.5 percent of managers, will miss Gameround 2 due to suspension.

The Colombian midfielder was sent off for a hand-ball against Japan, conceding a penalty in the process.

2014’s break-out star James Rodriguez (£9.0m) still has 11.5 percent backing despite missing out on a starting place in Gameround 1 due to injury.

For Poland, their go-to man is Robert Lewandowksi (£9.5m), with 7.2 percent ownership.

Apart from Wojciech Szczesny (£5.0m), no other player in Poland’s ranks has more than 3.1 percent ownership.

Werner to start? Gomez to get a look in?

I'm really considering him over Ronaldo. That 12m takes a lot of your buying power away. He had a decent amount of chances against Sweden, bound to deliver soon?

Yeah I'm thinking Costa Messi Werner for captaincy option each day

I'm thinking Reus and Werner double up. Argentina have looked very flat this tournament and players in form seem to have kicked on from GW1. But it's a tough one.

Why Reus AND Werner over Costa?

I think I want Costa and Reus. The third striker is a problem. Ronaldo is pricey and I don't know if he's essential. Werner seems like best option from the teams that need to win.

How’s this WC gw3 team looking?

    Neuer Elshenawy
    Carvajal Cedric Lovren Hegazy Akanji
    Isco Moutinho Layun Qunitero Inui
    Ronaldo Messi Costa

    Thanks in advance 🙂

I'd be wary of your Egyptians, Hegazi injured and 45 year old keeper may play

I'd go Kimmich over Neuer too, other than that very good.

How many transfers is enough going into elimination rounds? I currently have 12 left in my game ,and really want to spend 5 transfers this round but i don't want to be left in the dark during eliminations.

Thoughts on players who could be rested for their 3rd group games?

I have Trippier and Kane for England, unsure if these will play against Belgium seeing as finishing 2nd is the better option.

Though Kane on for Golden Boot

Trippier went off with a knock but don't think anything serious.

    1. Tommytour
      • 13 Years

Trippier def won't play and Kane wanting to win Golden boot won't have any bearing on team selection

I see many teams with El Shenawy. I've got a feeling El-Hadary might be given a start. Not based on any source, but he's the Egyptian captain, 45-years old, 152 caps, his first World Cup and they have nothing to play for but pride.

You'll see the line-ups before the deadline, but I thought this was worth a mention.

Used my WC. How does below team look for Round 3 -

    Costa/Messi/Reus
    Isco/Jedinak/Coutinho/Krychowiak/Lingard
    Hegazy/Carvajal/Godin/Lovren/Akanji
    Subasic/Mustapha

Also, anyone know how the price increase after Round 3 gets counted for players already in team
