Some previously powerful Fantasy Premier League set piece assets seems to have lost their edge in the first four Gameweeks of 2018/19.

That’s what our latest research into set plays data has shown us this week.

    I really want to keep my WC as long as possible but new injuries spawn every day, really unlucky so far this season.

    Fraser, Walcott, Mhkitaryan, Salah, Hazard
    Aguero, Zaha (Kamara)

    As it looks Fraser and Walcott are injured and a risk. Mhkitaryan might have lost his starting place, Peltier doesn't play, Kamara won't play much.

    I took a -4 before this round and i'm left with 1 FT. Any way to repair it without WC?

      Deffo wc it’s times like this it’s exactky what you need. I think once you’ve got over 4 players who are major doubts it’s time to press the button personally.

    The scoutcast died the day Mark left, not only is he the most knowledgeable and engaging of the lot he also makes bold decisions and lives and dies by those choices, his cheap forward line theory really stung when kun hauled and he's still trying to repair the damage, that's the sort of thing we want to hear about not just answers to Maddison or Pedro.
    Not having a go at the others but i can't rid the feeling they are just noise in an already saturated market

      I think he’s just a natural lead man while jonty isn’t which is a shame as he’s a great no 2 and has the most wit out of all of them. Just feel like the lead man has to be someone with an air of presence and not sure jonty has that over mark. Have to bring back fantasy island risks too

    Anyone considering Ghezzel for 5.3 as a Maddison alternative?

    Played 90 minutes against Liverpool in Mahrez's old position, has scored 2 goals in his last 2 games. Potentially sharing set pieces with Maddison. I personally can only afford a 5.9 or below mid this week and I'm very tempted to punt on him. Here's an article on him:

          The question is there then. Can u see Palace keeping a clean sheet?

          If not and Miki comes off the bench for 1 point the difference will only be 1 or 2 points.
          Mikitaryan has higher upside imo but higher risk of not playing.

    Defence is currently Mendy, Alonso, Doherty.

    Have Robbo as first sub for Fraser and AWB second n case of a possible Mkhi no-show. However. it's more likely that Mkhi will get some minutes for a 1pt cameo.

    So, play Mkhi or bench him for Robbo/AWB?

    Alonso has been my main focus this week but now with Fraser injured I have a conundrum.

    Could either do my original plan of
    Luiz and mhki to Alonso and Gray/ Traore.

    Or push the boat out with...

    Luiz, Mhki and Mane to Alonso, Kante and Hazard (-4)

    Can see hazard going off next few games... Shall I go for it or be safe and stick with Mane?

          If you are intent on getting hazard in, -4 is not too bad but not Kante..

          Could only afford 5.1 for that final midfielder. Kante seems a decent placeholder in that bracket as he is nailed and could get attacking returns in 3 of the next 4 games of im lucky. After that I would be looking to move him on probably
