      I don’t get this site’s obsession with Neco this week. This is presumably as one of your starting defenders - do you really want a Forest defender? They’re very much a work in progress - and they’re not going to keep many CS.

      Neco Williams has one PL assist in his career - I’m sure he’ll get some more this season, but the baseline for choosing a defender surely has to be a team that will keep clean sheets.

        They must have third eye vision! I’m benching Neco. Still a Forest defender. He has posted very good statistics in terms of chances created and shots from a defender but most of those shots have been outside the box long rangers.

        He's looked good on the ball and had a lot of shots but I agree, Bournemouth have looked poor but Forest have awful defensive stats, conceded a ridiculous number of shots every game (ironically City and Spurs had the lowest). They put a lot of men forward so may well get caught out and concede, and he's very prone to a yellow card. I saw a certain person on Twitter with a lot of followers (for what reason I don't know) yesterday saying that they'd "be worried" for those that don't have Neco Williams this week, as if he was Salah or Haaland. Laughable

    Small update from City predictors:

    "Overnight Man City update: Most consider Haaland will start but have reduced game time. Probably around 60 mins but could be earlier if Man City in control of the game vs Villa. Smaller chance he gets rested or comes off bench. The consensus on the the first 11 is expect rotation

    Pep will want to keep his CL players match ready for Seville so Mahrez, Foden, Bernardo will all get minutes but starts hard to call. Many think Alvarez deserves a start this week. Pep has no need to rush back Ake/Grealish if not ready as team so expect minutes off bench if any.

    Hope this helps. Yes it is deliberately vague because this week predictors have less confidence of starts. We share the information but in the end, you must make the choices for your FPL team, knowing with all teams playing in Europe, there will be rotation & therefore risk."

        if Haaland plays 0 mins or 60 mins you can safely captain him.

        If Haaland plays 25 mins he can still score 2.

        all scenarios point to captain with a decent VC.

    Is it worth captaining Kane when no one else in my league has him? I captained Salah on Wed and the difference if I’d captained Haaland was only 7 points. I can get half of every one else’s points but they won’t get any of any potential Kane returns…

        Tbh in your case I think Kev has a pretty high chance of being involved in any Haaland goals anyway. The issue with what I said above is if Salah didn’t get that last min assist that’s like 10 points gone, so there was an element of luck to it.

      Depends on formation, when with 3 CB's he'll play as wing back when 4 at the back Cresswell will play LB and Emerson will warm the bench.
