Where to upgrade with 1m itb? Not the bench...

    Onana
    Chily Estu Gabriel
    KdB Rash Saka Eze
    Haaland Watkins Pedro
    Areola Anderson Kabore Baldock

Looks good but KDB looked about 2 stone overweight today. Areola will be ripe for a quick price drop once Fabianski starts against Bournmouth

      no 1m upgrades
eze to foden was a thought but with kdb in that would be too much I think

could get another 6.5 mid in and switch to a 3-5-2 drop JP tp fodder and upgrade Anderson to a 6.5 or just keep it itb

    Chilwell Estupinan Gabriel

    Haaland Pedro

I really wanted to start the season with Trossard but it's going to take a lot of guts to do that now. Something I've been thinking about though, if games are going to have 8-10 minutes of stoppage time doesn't that improve impact subs like Trossard? Likely to get around 40 minutes of playing time against tiring legs if subbed on around the 60th.

    A Salah Draft

    Johnstone (4.0)
    Gabriel Chilwell Estu (Kabore Gusto)
    Saka Salah Bruno Eze Martinelli
    Pedro Haaland (4.5)

    1. Bruno/Estu
    2. Rashford/(Torres/Cash)

    Or B Non-Salah Draft (0.5m over Buget

    Onana
    Gabriel Chilwell Estu (Kabore Gusto)
    Saka Eze Bruno Rashford Martinelli
    Pedro Haaland Watkins

    1.Bruno could be Jota.
    2. Watkins could be Nunez.
    3. Onana could be Johnstone,
    4. Estu could be Torres/Cash

    A or B

which option is best to save 0.5m IYO? 1,2 in A, or 1,2,3,4 in B?

I hope that makes sense lol 🙂

    A Salah Draft

    Or B Non-Salah Draft

    Onana
    Gabriel Chilwell Estu (Kabore Gusto)

I think I've got my Salah draft figured out. 2x4.0's on the bench, so very light in that department but that's how you get all the toys I guess:

    Pickford (Areola)
    Estu Stones Gabriel (Kabore Baldock)
    Salah Saka Martinelli Bruno Mitoma
    Haaland (C) Joao Pedro (Mubama)

Thoughts? I had a dream Pickford saves a PK against Fulham and he's been in my drafts ever since xD

    1. George Sillett
      • 10 Years

That's a very strong first 11 but as you say the compromise is tge bench. Good to start though with a couple of FT's to use in GW3 assuming no injuries

      That looks very nice.
Although I'd go with Eve backup goalie rather than Areola, who could easily drop to 3.9 in first few weeks.

I made a v similar draft with Kane instead of Haaland, and an upgraded 5th mid, but doubt I'll have the cojones to go ahead with it (and provided Kane stays).

Seeing Joao Pedro in a lot of drafts, and it baffles me. Am I missing something? Okay he scored 2 goals this preseason, but he's still very far from nailed, 5.5 is very awkward position for a forward, and by GW4 most of them will want to sell him anyway, if he isnt benched for Ferguson before that, that is

    1. George Sillett
      • 10 Years
      2 years, 8 months ago

He's starting and scoring. By GW 4 potentially you've had 3FT's to switch things up.

There's one punt in every team.

He's a brilliant option in a 5-2 or 4-3 front line and we can afford a sub.

Anyone else still on Foden? I have a gut feeling he’ll go off on Burnley.

Impossible to call. But Pep cant be happy with the pace of the team before he came on.

Yep. Strange Pep has no love for him.

Was it Alverez who moved out of the way to avoid the Trossard cross/feint in the last minute? Could see him being in Pep's bad books for a while. Maybe Foden could benefit

Only if we get early team news. City certainly improved after he came on.

I got Foden in off the back of today he looked very dangerous when he came on. If Foden scored today everyone would be clamouring for him. I am glad he didn't. If Foden n does well v Burnley I will keep him for Newcastle - if not I will sell him for Diaby.

it's a shame he didn't get gametime in the central role when coming on

for now I'll wait, KDB looked fit and lively when he came on
