People are aware that the generous pricing means you don't have to buy players from

Luton, Bournemouth, Sheff U, Burnley, Brentford, Everton, Forest, Brighton, Palace, Wolves, Fulham, West Ham, United or Chelsea, right?

Not if they are expected to score more than elites.

Well broadly people are stacked on the other 6 teams, so yes I suspect people have realised that.

Who scores more this week only (gw28)?

    A. Foden +4 points
    Or
    B. Jarrod Bowen

Thinking I might save FH and go with 7ish players in BGW29…

Thoughts on the below moves for this GDW28, with that in mind? 2FT 0.6m ITB

    Haaland Darwin to Solanke Morris

gives the following team, + 10.2m ITB to get Son next week and then worry about getting Salah/Haaland back after that.

    Areola — Dubravka
Saliba Gabriel Doughty — Porro* Branthwaite
Saka KDB Foden Palmer — Garnacho
    Watkins [Solanke] [Morris]

I think haaland in one gameweek could get more points even against Liverpool... And it gives you 2FT going into the blank gameweek.

Anything worth a hit here for this week? Not planning to use FH in 29, so likely to take a hit next week to field 8 or 9 by bringing in Toney/Bowen

    Dubruvka, Turner
    Gabriel, Doughty, Reguilon, Taylor, Baldock
    Foden, Son, Saka, Palmer, Anderson
    Haaland, Solanke, Watkins

He's sold and an attacking threat.

They might struggle in later games but looks okay at the moment.

They've been through a run of 9 games with bad form, 9 with good results and their 8th game of poor form was a win, albeit at Burnley who are struggling to score.

They could be a streaky side with another good run upcoming...

Is Tuner to Norberto Neto a good idea in goal?

Bench Sensei to sell soon(ish) and play Solanke in their double.

Leaves me with £0.3m itb to just afford KDB and Solanke to Salah and Muniz in gw30 as it stands.

    FH29 if that matters.

        Benching Martinez home to Spurs.

It also brings an early BB opportunity into play from gw32 on ...

Could bench Martinez at City and Arsenal too in gw31 and 33.

            I can just bench him

Not sure which defender improves on him with £1m itb into gw28.

Who would you recommend? Up to £5m ish.

If I wildcard around gw31-33 it's probably okay.

I'd play Gabriel, Moreno and Gusto in 28 with Bradley second sub.

    Bookies odds for DGW28:

    Bournemouth:
    - Expected 4.65 goals
    - 43% and 33% CS

    Luton:
    - Expected 2.15 goals
    - 17% and 11% CS

    Man City:
    - Expected 1.80 goals

The goals look quite high for Bournemouth who've struggled to score at home.

Just 12 scored at home and the 4th weakest side.

What worries me is that they went one up against Burnley then decided to take what they had and park the bus.

Not sure they'll get away with that against Luton, who can score goals against anyone.

I also would think Sheffield United will play this game vastly different to how they played the last few. They have to surely look at this as a winnable game.

Wildcard gw30 could turn out to be the right plan.

Most won't have 2 FTs regardless of what they did in gw29.

So to restructure your squad into a Salah build 2.0, and not to have to take a hit into an early Mo return against...

Brighton & Hove then Sheffield United at home, when those that can will load up on him is possibly the 'optimal' chip strategy...

      You're welcome.

31 will be more optimal, more information regarding doubles.

Don't need to WC if you've been planning with FH GW29 in mind. I can get the team below for a -4 which can easily be transformed into a DGW34 BB team if BOU, EVE, SHU & CYP) double as predicted, then WC GW35 and GW36 with the mini Chelsea (v Spurs/Brighton, or Arsenal) DGW and DGW37 in mind.

        Dubravka (Areola)
        Gabreil, Porro, Zabamyi (Branthwaite, Richards)
        Salah, Son, Foden, Saka, Palmer
        Haaland, Wadkins (Muniz)

Can likely afford Salah for free in 30, or for a -4 (which involves having Muniz vs. SHU).

Will be saving my WC for nor information and better DGW37 prep.

That Senesi injury is incredibly annoying. Would you:

Good afternoon. What is the best play here?

      A) Start Garnacho
      B) Start Groß
      C) One of the above to Barkley (-4)
      D) Senesi > Zabarnyi (-4), bench Garnacho and Groß

FWIW: I will be trying to save my FH in 29.

If Højlund is back A, if not B. Could easily do C tbf, because you're not going to use FH. But then you have to expect Barkley to outscore them by at least 4.

Watkins is gonna be a real conundrum after GW29. His fixtures are really not great. No doubles. But his form is incredible atm.

I think I lean sell in GW31 for Darwin vs SHU.

Watkins's record vs top teams is pretty bad.
      Mcy - 1
      Tot - 5
      Liv - 2
      Ars - 2
      Mun - 2, 2

Probably one who you could hold for too long, I'll be selling him on WC in 31

Yep for sure and it's a nice opportunity to beat the more template and safe managers.

You sure you wanna hold him through that with 0 doubles?

Well thats not smart at all. We are talking about Watkins here who is so clinical at the moment. Best phase of his career, why he would stop scoring suddenly?

Another significant factor is that Villa are quite likely to have a deep run in Europe & I'm just not convinced they have the squad depth to maintain their league form throughout a Thurs-Sun routine. Dip in form for Bailey or a couple more injuries could hit them really hard

      Estu > Doughty for -4?

      Yay or nay

I would do it, if no other defender in the team.
Who is available if you bench Estu?

Bordeaux's Alberth Elis is "waking up" from an induced coma and "seems to be gradually recovering" from a serious head injury, says the striker's family.

They added they are remaining "cautious" and that "the next few days will be crucial".

All the best wishes and prayers for Elis.

In a bit of a pickle here.
Spent my FT this week and got Senesi and Salah in my squad. My original plan was keeping Senesi through their run of good fixtures and also keep Salah throughout the season, while in GW30 get Son for KDB, and in GW31 get Saka(+Fofana) for Gordon(+Toney). FH in GW29.

Thinking about bringing in Zabarniy and/or Saka.

          Would you
A: Take the -8 and do both transfers? This would mean bringing Salah in at GW31 again (like the original plan with Saka was).
B: Take a -4 and do just one of the transfers? If so which one?
C: Do neither - this means Mykolenko and Gordon comes in to the team, and the only hit taken will be in GW31 as planned.

          Thanks for the advice, guys.

          who to bring in?

          Doughty with the DGW
          or
          Bowen vs BUR

            Both.
But depends on your gw29 plans. If you are free hitting then maybe just Bowen. If not, then both for -4 makes sense to me.

Estu or Hwang - so both sensible moves

i am planning to FH29 and WC30ish anyway, so i kinda see it as a 1 week move almost

You probably don't have Hwang or Estupinan in your XI? If you'd expect them to outscore the two they are replacing in your XI by more than 4, I'd do both. If only one, I'd probably do Doughty. But depends on the rest of your XI.

            Tempted myself

            Can't beat the fixtures

Only thing stopping me is Solanke fully fit and on form and will there be a better opportunity for TC further along
