Alonso absent for Chelsea as Saïss comes in for Bennett

Marcos Alonso (£6.4m) misses out on a place in the Chelsea starting XI for the second Gameweek in a row this weekend.

That’s the first time he has not played a single minute in back-to-back Gameweeks all season.

In his place is Emerson Palmieri (£5.2m) who makes his second start in a row, having played all 90 minutes against Fulham in Gameweek 29.

Joining the Italian in Chelsea’s back-line is the usual suspects of David Luiz (£5.9m), returning after a Gameweek 29 benching, Antonio Rüdiger (£5.9m) and Cesar Azpilicueta (£6.3m).

With Eden Hazard (£10.8m) and Gonzalo Higuaín (£9.6m) coming back into the side following a rest in the Europa League, they are joined in the front three by Pedro (£6.3m).

The key Wolves assets are all in the starting line-up with Matt Doherty (£5.4m) restored to the starting line-up on the flanks of midfield.

Raúl Jiménez (£6.8m) and Diogo Jota (£6.1m) lead the two-man attack while Rui Patricio (£4.5m) reclaims the goalkeeper jersey from John Ruddy (£4.2m).

As Ryan Bennett (£4.2m) serves the first of a two-match suspension, Romain Saïss (£4.2m) fills in for him at centre-back.

      Had mane at start of season which worked a treat then swapped for salah for middle of season...if only I’d managed to get mane back in 8 games ago or so I’d have judged it perfectly. Oh well

      If I had free reign, I'd be tempted by Lanzini, but I'd say Fraser is sensible. Some lovely fixtures and Bournemouth consistent at home. Your plans might change depending on TAA of course.

    Four of my eight players in my starting team that have played this week have scored 1 point or less for a total of 3 points! Robbo, Son, AWB and Alisson...players I expected returns from.

            10 points is my minimum expectation from my captain. So I was happy with kuns return. I'd had it on vardy though for the previous 3 days and changed fri night but ke sera, it's an interesting season to say the least. Terribly frustrating for some though.
