  1. Doherty injury latest as more blanks confirmed in Gameweek 31 1 day, 12 hours ago

Yes I think this is the best strategy, I was keen on FH 31 because I will be very happy with my lineup next week and will not want to mess it up so to speak to bring in players for 31, however the fact that 31 and 33 are so similar I think it’s a no brainier...Fh in 32 could give you 3 very good game weeks there...and I am actually more inclined to do like a mini wildcard after 30 as opposed to bringing in players each week that mess up my team...maybe a -8? Plus Arnie next week...and Schär and Boruc for my bench leading up to it. This would give me around 10 players » Read

  2. Chilwell v Pereira: how they compare ahead of Leicester's fixture turn 1 day, 21 hours ago

A lot of what you are saying makes sense, but I missed your point?! You want to FH in 31 because a lot of Our teams will be already playing in dgw32? » Read

Maddison, pereira yes ....vardy no , hes having a poor season by his standards isnt he yes but then im thinking if chelsea lose to utd, (which lets be honest is becoming a definite possibility)...then there will be even less need for the FH, as i would bring in higuain and luiz for example straight away and be happy with 8-9 players then. FH can then be used in 32 » Read

Did anyone see a tweet by Aleksander Vage Nilsen yesterday? he mentioned that if aguero plays schalke and league cup final then he could potentially be dropped for West ham and Watford at home, this would be a disaster if you bring him in considering he doesnt perform as well away. anyone have any thoughts? » Read

i like the look of Harvey barnes mind you...i am keeping an eye on him, and i already have pereira. but i think that will be enough » Read

Really? ....vardy last 5 - 2,5,2,1,3 Madd last 5 - 1,4,2,2,2 you think just since they are playing in the 2 bgw's they are going to suddenly haul haha, i dont see the point in filling my team just for 2's or 3's.....yes they may haul but its hard to tell on current form and i would rather keep a strong team outside of these gw's. besides the fact that its been discussed a lot this season that puel isnt getting the best out of vardy etc, and the lack of harmony between them, i'll probably steer clear. » Read

possibly but if i already have fraser brooks and pereira, for 31 do you see any newcastle or leicester players that are worth bringing in just for 2pts? ....its really hard to look at both teams and nail someone that is likely to score well in both games...both leicester are very erratic going forward and dont do cs's well.... its still all a wait and see anyway for the moment but good to discuss thoughts » Read

i think so, so many times in the past we have doubled up on teams on these bgw's or dgws only to be disappointed....if you just nail the 1 standout player from each fixture i believe it is enough. IF fixtures stay as they are i will probably just aim for this: boruc Taa pereira x x x sal mane fraser x x arnie x x ....so 7 players. this is purely because i cant see any of the other players in that gameweek that i would trust to deliver consistently leading up to and after GW31...the only other player i am considering is to bring brooks in just for that Gw even a cheeky -4. » Read

i like it , funnily enough very similar to the team i will have in around 2 gameweeks...i had a long look at stats yesterday and found these 3 to be the best defenders too...i was also a little influenced by the 'no more clean sheets' article from yesterday too haha i will have guaita - boruc Taa pereira Doherty (jonny Peltier) salah mane sterling son (mcneil ) kun jimi arnie » Read

i found this weird, Bou v newcastle and west ham v hud wont go either way, if they have all their main players fit then they are both pretty good teams at home....but i am thinking just arnie and just fraser could be enough in addition to the pool players and i will have pereira anyway » Read

  18. Fool's Goal: The Clean Sheet Crapshoot 6 days, 7 hours ago

this is exactly what i was thinking, chris's point is valid, but when comparing a 6m/7m mid who blanks 2-3 games and then gets over 6pts ..(so 1 in 4) then a prem defender like rob or taa or even wan bissaka for example is a better option. so its not that simple to definitely say that its better to have forwards than defenders because no one is expected to keep clean sheets....I believe the key is to find a front 7 that at least 1 in 2 games get over 6pts and 3 defenders with the same chance either through cs or attacking returns » Read
