Who'd have thought we'd ever see an FFS captain poll with Tammy Abraham & Callum Wilson topping it 🙂 I think its great for the game, and if they read the script and perform, probably an induction of how they'll be priced next year (and therefore how underpriced they are this year) Big if of course » Read

So we know where we stand on Vardy? Good stuff 🙂 Now onto the next issue which you have so kindly raised 🙂 Inherent in my positivity on Coleman & Digne was the presence of a certain DM who is busy helping PSG set defensive records in Ligue 1 After his departure things were never going to be the same and you probably would have seen the caveats I inserted pre season on same I have to admit after his departure I still felt it could pay dividends, but Everton have not obliged 🙂 Digne can and probably will be an absolute bandwagon again though, he has so much in his favour » Read

Pereira I'm still a little bit cautious of I think he's begrudge from a fair dollop of recency bias from the back to back goals last GW's... Overall his attacking returns have regressed significantly under Rodgers (less OOP than Puel) Puel - 24 games 8 attacking returns Rodgers - 19 games 4 attacking returns Wouldn't put anyone off him mind you as he could do extremely well... But I'm cautious Soy just looks like a pricing mistake at 4.5 after the Maguire sale » Read

Yeah I just think what you've typed is - in the spirit of being open & direct - a load of nonsense Not factually of course, as stats are what they are. But you could train a half competent hamster to look at the bottom and top of a stats table to be fair. What you've basically said is "I'm not happy with Vardy for going 2-2-2-2 from Chelsea, utd, spurs, Liverpool... And 2-8-16-12 from Wolves, Sheffield, Bournemouth, newcastle... I don't care that he's the club talisman, that he's on penalties, that his fixtures are improving, that his goal involvement has been extremely strong since his new manager took the reigns in Feb off this year - I've looked at a table I've concluded he's a trap" You can probably tell I hold the exact opposite opinion and can't get him in quickly enough, and will happily fall on my sword if he only gets 20-30 points in his next 10... Can't see it though 😉 » Read

How does having already played 4 of last seasons big 6 in their opening 8 games, plus adapting to the recent loss of an €80m centre half in that same period factor into the equation? Also what has Vardy's goal involvement GI Stat been? And how are their fixtures looking from GW9 forwards in comparison to how they've played? All good for thought 😉 » Read

To be fair - Salah, Son, and Sterling are being sold in their thousands due to their recent failures, and Mount is a fraction of his price so possibly not the best examples to use The way I would still put it is that avoiding early on to swerve any acclimatising period was always sensible Better to be a week late than 5,10, (or more!) weeks early with such a highly priced and unproven asset (scoring penalties & free kicks in France is wonderful, but still unproven in England) I actually like the way he plays though, his low centre of gravity & pace with the ball at this feet reminds me a little bit of hazard... Has an absolute cannonball of a shot too & he could yet come good. Especially if Auba keeps donating penalties to him 🙂 » Read
