  1. Scoutcast Episode 328 – FPL and Mental Health 25 days, 17 hours ago

See above - BB38 should be a non-runner as GW38 will be zero points for everyone You'd need a Mega-GW39 announcement to engage BB - but if they can do a GW39 then they have the ability to add extra GW's which again lessens the likelihood of a Mega-GW (i.e. why stop at one extra GW) » Read

Remember FPL have already announced that there will be no Mega-GW38 - i.e. they've said GW38 is a zero pointer for everyone » Read

  3. Using the 'per 90' tool to assess FPL defenders with the best assist potential 25 days, 17 hours ago

No idea how to even begin attaching remotely accurate probabilities to outcomes 1 & 2 But *if* the guidance FPL gave us in the article is correct there is a confirmed 0% chance of a Mega-GW38 » Read

Yeah I think that is definitely emerging as one of two distinct possibilities unfortunately FPL state in this article that for everyone GW38 will be a zero-pointer: https://www.premierleague.com/news/1646851 - so my interpretation is that Mega-GW38 is ruled out here (unless they go back on their word) Mega-GW39 is a possibility of course, but by definition that means they do have the ability to add extra gameweek/s, so why stop at one extra gameweek... So basically the possibilities look like being: 1. Extra Gameweeks added (if games actually go ahead in the real world) 2. FPL Season finishes with the closure of GW38 (regardless of whether or not games go ahead in the real world) i.e. - Any form of "Mega" GW looks extremely unlikely based on what FPL communicated above » Read

The thing is, in hindsight it doesn’t really start getting *properly* mad until about the fourth episode I think - its around then that it just goes off the deep end in a big, big way from memory Here Kitty Kitty is some tune though » Read

  6. Further good fixtures ahead for Doherty and Alonso after 15-point Virtual FPL hauls 26 days, 17 hours ago

Very old news - but... FPL state in this article that for everyone GW38 will be a zero-pointer: https://www.premierleague.com/news/1646851 So mega-38 is ruled out here unless they go back on their word? Mega-39 may be possible of course, but by definition that means they then have the ability to add extra gameweek/s, so why stop at one extra gameweek... Possibly an indicator that its either extra gameweeks to complete the season, or season finishes with OR's as is whether or not the games actually go ahead? » Read

  7. Vote on the greatest Fantasy asset of all time in our World Cup of FPL semi-finals 26 days, 18 hours ago

Wouldn't really agree with the stance that "Ronaldo was the ultimate fantasy asset out there" tbf - Henry would be the obvious pick as an FPL asset, for me anyways CR7 was obviously a stupidly talented player of course, but he only had a single "great" FPL season in 2007/08 where he got 38 returns (31G 8A - phenomenal scoring)... The prior season he got 32 returns (17G 15A - Still superb performance), But his three earlier seasons were absolutely nothing to write home about (18G 16A in 95 apps) and his last season was actually an FPL disaster - an eye watering 14.0m price tag for a measly 25 attacking returns in 33 games? With Pens and DFKs? Think I'll pass thanks Henry's output by comparison was pretty much jaw-dropping for a solid 5 consecutive seasonsfrom 2001 to 2006 he scored (wait for it).... 130G 58A in 171 appearances... including the legendary 2002/03 season where he got 49 returns in37 games - beating even prime Suarez (48 returns - 31G 17A in 2013/14) So basically: … » Read

Believe it or not, during that mad season, Suarez only got 3 goals & 1 assist from GW31-38...he also got 0 points GW1-5 due to the ban So that's 13 GW's (or a third of a season) where he did very little He scored reasonably well for the other two thirds of the season mind you - just the 27G & 16A in 25 games - one of the rare FPL occasions where a player actually was essential (Cue the examples of "I didn't have him and still finished top 1k" 😉 ) » Read
