  1. How De Bruyne's new Man City role affects his FPL credentials 15 hours, 42 mins ago

Arguably start Pereira over Soucek. Arguably also Dier over Shaw. » Read

They're barely comparable... probably needs some more context. You're comparing a 6.5 rotating midfielder from the best team in the league to a 6.0 nailed striker from the worst team in the league » Read

Best site out there, but start of season / lots of wildcards / possible rule changes make it very difficult to have an accurate algorithm from the off » Read

  4. Save potential and improved Villa defence boost Martínez's FPL appeal 16 hours, 2 mins ago

This reminds me of the TAA vs 7.5 mid/forward debate from preseason. You can convince me that Boly is a better option than Podence, sure, but Lamptey vs Burke is just so uninspiring. Lamptey is imo the best 4.5 around. Burke is widely considered to be a donkey and SHU are bang out of form. » Read

  7. Should FPL managers sell Aubameyang ahead of Arsenal's tough fixture run? 1 day, 13 hours ago

Not sure if fplstatistics is back yet (not for me anyway) but WCers should have already got rid of Werner, Havertz, Soucek, Doherty etc. and brought in KDB and James Rodriguez for price changes » Read

I do like it overall. The differences right now are you have Salah/VVD/Burke/Davis and I have Son/Reece/Foden/DCL. I like to have options on my bench especially because Podence and Foden are not nailed on. However, compromises are necessary to accommodate Salah. I missed out on his 20 points in GW1 already and even posted earlier today about how he scored 15 points in the exact same fixture (GW3, ARS) last season. Options, options » Read

That bench is abysmal which could be a problem. It would look much better if Brewster moves and replaces Davis. Actually quite similar to my current draft overall except Salah over Son - not sure which version I prefer yet. » Read

  17. Injury updates on Lamptey and Saint-Maximin after Albion's FPL assets impress 1 day, 19 hours ago

For anyone that's interested, here's a review of GW3 from last season. Data from transfermarkt --- Bournemouth 1 - 3 Man City --- Transfermarkt community predictions: 98.1% City win City came into their 3rd game of the season off the back of a 5-0 away at West Ham (Sterling hat trick) and a 2-2 at home to Spurs (Sterling + Aguero). Sterling scored here for the 3rd game in a row, but Aguero stole the headlines with a brace. This was a sign of things to come as Sterling's form plummeted from GW4 onwards whilst Aguero continued to do well until he inevitably got injured a few weeks later. Harry Wilson scored a brilliant free kick to frustrate all the Zinchenko owners out there. This season, City are at home to Leicester in GW3. Aguero is still out, the consensus is that this benefits Sterling. Bournemouth have been relegated. --- Tottenham 0 - 1 Newcastle --- Transfermarkt community predictions: 97.8% Spurs win Spurs came into their 3rd game of the season as heavy favourites havin… » Read

I still don't think he's very good. But he's improving, and seems to have a good attitude. Also appears to be from the Salah school of gets loads of chances, misses most of them and scores a few. Not a big fan of those but undeniably good for FPL. » Read

  20. Kane and Son expose Saints as Ings cements first-choice penalty-taker status 1 day, 22 hours ago

It's a judgement call, no one-size fits all solution. People MAY test positive, there MAY be DGWs, teams MAY make new signings, we don't know. What I do know is I'm sitting on 84 points from 2 weeks with plummetting TV and players that are injured and out of form. Sure, that's partially my fault for a bad GW1 selection. But what can you do, go back in time? Wildcards are always going to be beneficial if you save them but they can also be beneficial if you use it early, it's your own call. » Read
