Looks like Brann are using two defenders as wingers today. Presumably Blomberg and Grøgaard. » Read

This is going to be an interesting week for sure. Lode, Sampsted and Fet are confirmed out. Zinckernagel has been called out by a local journalist, as well as the broadcaster claiming that he didn't arrive at the hotel. There's likely going to be a storm during tonights game between Molde - Glimt. I'm expecting Haikin; Konradsen, Moe, Høibråten, Bjørkan; Moberg, Berg, Saltnes; Boniface, Junker, Solbakken to be the lineup. It's still a solid team, just Moberg stepping back in without much team practice and slightly raw wingers. I'm personally caught between a lot of different ideas. I like the idea of using RU and picking Zinckernagel as one of my players, allowing me to use an expensive bench in case he doesn't play. I also have 4 DGW players as things stand. I can easily get 6 if I use my RU. With Ulvestad a doubt I'm down to 9 players this GW. Gaining 3 games by using RU sounds like quite a powerful use of the chip. The question is who do I bring in on RU? Antonsson, Kass… » Read

I think Risa will play against the stronger teams. Usually Molde will sign up and coming talents quite early and bed them in, but in this case I think they want a defensive improvement for the EL games. Gw22-24 could end up being Haugen's starts as the EL games are every week. » Read

Some things to consider : The final schedule has been released. Unsurprisingly the last 2 GWs will have the matches take place at the same time. All of Molde's games have been pushed to Sunday, but they will play the first game of GW25 against Stabæk. Keep in mind that GW25-28 will have a two hour earlier deadline than usual. Odd might have to change their whole backline for the next game. Captain Steffen Hagen is out for at least a month with injury. Ruud is suspended. Risa has been traded with Kitolano. Bjørtuft just walked off with an injury for Norway U-21. Ruud's suspensions seems rather convenient, and this is a great opportunity for Berisha and Bytyqi to shine. Rosenborg's midfield has become a minefield in terms of pure quality. In fantasy terms it seems clearer. Henriksen has played as defensive midfielder in 4-2-3-1 against PSV and as the anchor against Odd. Skjelbred played as an 8 against Odd, but has never been particularly a goal contributor. Zachariassen o… » Read

Genuinely expected many spissrush users to hit 150 points this week. Hauge going away of course lowered those expectations a bit, but I still expected more. Right now I'm on 25, with my two assists to Pelle and Solbakken both leading to redder arrows. My cup opponent got 13 (-4) points with Bakenga, Zach and Ruud to go versus my Holse and Ruud. » Read

I'm not sure if I would call him unlucky, but he has certainly been close to hauling. Disallowed goal today due to a push on the GK. Missed 3 fairly big chances against Glimt. Hoofed a penalty above goal against Molde. » Read

Interesting round so far. I spend more time wanting my players to fail than succeed. Kjartansson? 100% ownership at the top. Spissrush means negative points are positive for me. Borchegrevink? Nr 1 in the world got double Enga defence. Might as well hope for the worst. Berisha? Same as Kjartansson, and my cup opponent got him with no backup while i got Holse. Better for me if he's out. » Read

I don't think Hauge is that influential for Zinckernagel. The right hand side of Glimt is mostly Zinckernagel doing things on his own. The left side on the other hand is a lot more creative and of a higher quality. I expect Hauge's exit to have a negative affect on the team overall, and particularly Saltnes and possibly Junker. Bjørkan might be positively affected. Ola Solbakken is in the same mould as Layouni. He likes to get on the outside of the fullbacks and get down the line. Bjørkan got into the box a lot while Layouni played, but with Hauge he never found the space to surge forward. Instead Saltnes moved more into half spaces while Bjørkan varied between overlapping and tucking into Saltnes's position. Something that also could happen is that Zinckernagel moves into Hauge's position and Solbakken comes in on the right. That fits more into the current style of play, with two clear inside forwards. Konradsen as a 5.5 defender is now someone to watch out for. He was ap… » Read
