Members Area Upgraded

Earlier today we upgraded the Members Area to the new site template, giving everything a facelift as we rolled out the ICT Scout Index – our Fantasy Football Player Index.

We will make a detailed post on the ICT index later this evening, although if you want some early insight into how this works you can refer to this earlier post which explains the basics.

Members can currently view Top 10’s for Influence, Creativity and Threat, plus the Index score, from last season via their new Members dashboard in the Members Area. Full ICT Index scores can then be gathered via the Player Stats > Fantasy Index tables. You can view these tables by position or for all players.

Much more on this to come later.

We are working to roll out the new site template to the main site. We’re currently still optimising the new design and will look to carry out further tests in the next week before announcing a release date.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Any chance of a quick RMT on this?

    Given, (Foster)
Huth, Hangeland, Lescott, (Bardsley, De Laet)
Nani [VC], Silva, Sessegnon, Pennant, (Tiote)
    Carroll [C], Bent, Campbell

          Just to spite NeedleVor:

Huth is waaay to expensive and Stoke have awkward fixtures

Get Brown or someone for 4.5 instead of Bardsley

I'd downgrade Silva (won't score well in the new BP system) to N'Zog and upgrade Bent to RVP.

    Holt, Zamora, Rodallega

Not in my opinion. Dempsey has been good value in the past but usually when he's been used up front when Fulham were short up top. Thats not the case now so your money can be better spent elsewhere.

They conceded less goals overall but Swans let in fewer at home. And as you won't be playing either away from home, the welshmen could be the way to go.

I'm probably going to be on my own on this one, but I don't like the whole thing of sending them to the Crown Court to be sentanced so that they can be given longer terms.

Whilst the police should be jumping up and down on them like cockroaches in the street in order to protect peope and property, once they're caught giving them long sentences is pointless. Whilst its not an excuse, it is true that a lot of them will have been caught up in the wave. Giving them a long prison sentance just serves to wreck their lives for one stupid descision made on mass.

Its been done exactly the wrong way round and in the long term it can only make things worse. Fire away chaps!

Although I don't expect people to agree with me on this- I don't see the sense in sending some of the youngest offenders in this to prison, they'll be permanently criminalised.

Give them proper supervised community service and get them to clean up the mess they created. They should also be forced to meet some of the shopkeepers whose livelihoods they've ruined.

BTW, I think videos like this show that the portrayal of the riot police as completely "soft" is unfair/inaccurate. When they were able to catch the rioters they clearly deal with them.

I don't agree at all. Firstly how will you know who "got caught in the wave" and secondly regardless of whether an individual decided on his/her own to riot or whether they gave into peer pressure, their actions are despicable and they deserve everything that's coming to them.

I was thinking can I get a player from each of the ‘supposed’ big 5 in my team (assumuing the big 5 are, Man U, Chelsea, City & Arsenal – could change to Liverpool).

I’ve managed to… just as well as attacking coverage from Villa & Fulham:-

    Given (De Vries)
Luiz Kompany Simpson Orr Taylor (Swansea) – rotate 4.0m defenders
    Silva Malouda Nani N’Zogbia (Moses)
    RVP Holt Johnson

My only worry is that my att is maybe a little weak and i’m taking a gamble on Holt, but he could rotate with Moses.

    Keen to hear your thoughts!

Surely everyone should be going for a cheap defense! The new bonus system makes it clear that the bonus points will go the players that score. So for a defender to get bonus points they must either score or the game to be 0 0 as if its a 1 0 the bonus will go to the attacker who scores rather than the defender for keeping the cleany! Also means penalty takers could be crucial as even if they do nothing for the whole match but score a pen the cud bag the 3 points!

Don't see why people are getting so excited about bonus points. If a team keeps a clean sheet they all get the points, but bonus is individual. It's much harder to call, and is a small part of the overall strategy in my view.
