Members Area Upgraded

Earlier today we upgraded the Members Area to the new site template, giving everything a facelift as we rolled out the ICT Scout Index – our Fantasy Football Player Index.

We will make a detailed post on the ICT index later this evening, although if you want some early insight into how this works you can refer to this earlier post which explains the basics.

Members can currently view Top 10’s for Influence, Creativity and Threat, plus the Index score, from last season via their new Members dashboard in the Members Area. Full ICT Index scores can then be gathered via the Player Stats > Fantasy Index tables. You can view these tables by position or for all players.

Much more on this to come later.

We are working to roll out the new site template to the main site. We’re currently still optimising the new design and will look to carry out further tests in the next week before announcing a release date.

    Is Downing nailed on?
    having N'Zog, Silva, Downing, and Drogba at the moment scares me... Could be all risks.

      N'Zog is not a risk so far as I know? I think Downing will start this weekend, but nobody is nailed on in Liverpool's midfield.

            surly citeh do score goals think the 3rd highest scoring last year (not sure) and silva gives u that cover you need for a good player or one of the best players in that good side

          i have that same prob joey r.e. transfer for wk 2...the way i see it his side and mine make it first sub in wk 3 where you have two free anyway...may be wrong but seems that way to me for my side with the same dimensions

    think I'm close to being settled with this:

    Al habsi (Given)

    Kompany Cole Hughes (Gabbi Simpson)

    Nani Silva Malouda Taarabt Moses

    Carol Zamora (Holt)

    Al Habsi will be changed to Ruddy at some point in first 3 weeks saving 0.5 and Cole could down graded to Alex/Luiz if lineups are announced early shaving off up to another 1.5 to help fine tune the team in the early few weeks.

    I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before, but I notice people are still posting RMT's with Hangeland in their squad. I'm from Norway watching the preview to their friendly against Czech Republic and Hangeland is not even in the squad.

    The Norwegian coach has also mentioned he could be out for a while with an injury. Not sure but i thought i heard possibly up to 6 weeks. Just thought i would mention it!

    back 7 is like alot on here, only prob is i cant find the 0.5 to fit Cole in

    dont like the look of uniteds fixtures so im thinking of starting with Lamps & Malouda then GW4 swapping Lamps and Rodallega to RVP & a 6.5mid, would of liked Rooney in there but gw 2 & 3 id far rather give the armband to Lamps and then Rvp's fixtures look better after that, on the other hand if Tevez looks like starting i might bring him in gw1

      Weak strike force. You can do Hughes > Bramble, Ivanovic > Cole.

      Rearrange the midfield. Lampard and Malouda won't work out.

        Yeah, but he's older than MMW. The figures have to start coming down, just as the appearances will.

        He got two last season - I'm just saying it's not a huge stretch to say he'll score two fewer this season.

    figured i could get away with bringing in nzogbia now, putting up with Simpson for 1 week if Jose Enrique doesnt feature, and loading up on chelsea, gives me a decent GW1 and prevents me from wasting a transfer GW2 to get nzogbia in.

    How are people rating Rooney? I can see him in most RMTs.

    In my opinion, I think Rooney will be like Modric in terms of FPL points. Good on the pitch, bad on FPL points.

    Anyone agrees?

      He managed 10 goals and 10 assists last season, playing in the same position as he is now without his glittering pre season form. I think he'll be massive next season.

      He's only ubiquitous because RVP is injured and people are doing the simple swap to keep the team structure in place ready for Robin GW4. You might be right. I still think Rooney is the main attacking threat at Utd so should score well.

    Silva scored 144 points last season and he has three things going for him:

    1. He's only going to get better.
    2. He's playing in a team where the manager has vowed to become more attacking.
    3. He only played 2500 minutes last season, barring injury he'll get more this season.
