Currently I have 5 DGWers but Baines is injured and I doubt Shotton will play both.
I'm thinking Shotton, Kolarov, Walcott, McClean and RVP out for Huth, Cahill/BAE, Pienaar, VDV and Jelavic. Maybe Baines to someone as well. I see the potential for each of them to pay off. Plus, my rival will take a bigger hit because he's a lunatic when it comes to DGWs so it covers him.
I see you need to make some changes but they're going to have to pay off ~4pts each for you to just break even. That's a massive risk and highly unlikely to work out.
I would play the strongest team you can and use the FTF / 4 point hit max to get rid of injured players.

Just reading a little about aguero. As people probably know, he's married to maradona's daughter and they have a son. Imagine the pressure on that kid to be a super player when he grows up. his dad is aguero and grandad is maradona. he'll probably turn out to be the new alan carr!

VDV captain just doesn;t make sense to me.
What has he shown to make you think he will return higher than Jelavic or Cisse, or someone like Siggy?
Playing the fixtures has worked out horrifically for me the past couple of months. I'm indignant about the fact my moves keep on flopping but it has sort of become clear my rival has just been playing it safe and going with form, i'm flopping because I'm paying too much attention to the fixtures...
VDV has been dangerous in the last few weeks, and it's not about how many they have scored in the past few, it's how many people think they will.
Just because VDV has done nothing FPL wise in his last 2 starts doesn't mean he won't against Blackburn and Bolton
Yeah, but it's a question of what your basis is for thinking they will do well? Spurs have struggled for goals lately.
Considering how well a player will score pretty much comes down to how well their team will score, and momentum and confidence are a massive part of that - imo being overlooked here.
Oh well, to each their own, was just offering my opinion.
I never go on reputation. I look at how they have played previous matches and the quality of defence they face the next week. VDV has played well and has been unlucky not to score. Against BLA and bol he should definitely get something and Cisse has two tough away games. Thanks for the advice 🙂
