    Really? RVP goes to West Brom who defend very well at home. Aguero has one of the most favourable fixtures you can get, not to mention his and City's form being better than RVP and Arsenal

      I've stuck with him ever since the Swansea match earlier in the season, and I know I couldn't get myself to transfer him out. Your points are valid though, and if you believe Aguero will perform better, you're probably right and should do it. 😉

Manager substitutions

After all matches on a single day have finished and before the next matches start, you can:

Replace any player who wasn't sent off, with one from your bench whose team is yet to play.
Change your captain if he wasn't sent off, with a player from your squad whose team is yet to play.

Players who are substituted out will score 0 points, the captain bonus will be lost from your original captain if a new captain is selected. Substitutions and captain changes can't be cancelled once confirmed.

An unlimited number of manager substitutions can be made, however, it is not possible to make manager substitutions after games on the last day of the Matchday, as all fixtures will have been completed.

If a manager substitution or captain change is made then no automatic substitutions will take place on your team that Matchday.

  Basically teams from each group play on a different day.
  
  So if you have a player from group A that scored 2 points you can sub him out for another player that hasn't played yet.
  
  Same with captaincy, if your captain didn't do very well then you can change your captain to a player that hasn't played yet

  If one of your players has played, but you're not satisfied with his performance, you can switch him out for one of you benched players who has yet to play between the matches. Same goes for the player you captain.
  
  Therefore, you should always start with (and captain) players who play early in the GW. If they don't perform, just sub them out/switch captaincy. Remember though, that if you sub someone out or decide to switch captaincy, you cannot get those players back in you starting line-up. For the Euro2012 game, it would be wise to have captain-material-players from each of the four match-days, that way you can switch your captaincy band from player to player after each match, until one of them performs and you decide to stick.

  Before Majstorovic got injured J Olsson wasn't going to start, but he should now be first choice.
  
  Other than that I don't think it makes much difference, Marcus is a left back, Jonas is a CB, so I guess Jonas has more goal threat, Marcus more assist potential

I'm thinking of sticking with my frontline of Jelly, RVP & Rooney; and doing Evans > Ivanovic and Dempsey > Yaya. This would give me:

Mignolet (Krul)
Ivanovic/Verm/Walker (Caulker)
Yaya (c)/Pienaar/Siggy/Bale
Jelly/Rooney/RVP (vc)

The possibility of going Aguero-less isn't causing me a headache (yet!). Has an arduous FPL season affected my rational thinking?
