Fantasy Champions League Now Open

As many of you have already noticed, the official UEFA Champions League Fantasy game is now up and running. With Matchday 1 still 10 days away, the current break in domestic action gives us the perfect excuse to start assessing the fixtures and assembling our 15-man squads before the big kick-off:

Matchday 1 gets underway on Tuesday September 18 and the first night’s action hands City a trip to the Bernabeu to face Jose Mourinho’s Real Madrid, while Arsenal are also on the travels, with Olivier Giroud returning to face his previous employers, Montpellier. Chelsea get their defence up and running the following evening with a home clash against Juventus, while United welcome Galatasaray to Old Trafford.

Once again, we shall be offering coverage across the Matchdays for those in the community who plan on participating. At the moment, we’re also considering the possibility of running with another Champions League game in conjunction but for now, here’s the official Scout League code for the UEFA Fantasy game:

        I remember being miffed as Sunderland had scored twice and wiped out Begovic's and Huth's clean sheets. I went for a walk and bam!

        In the 3pm kick offs, Newcastle had just sold Carroll and were 4-0 down. Again, I went out at HT and came back at the end. Scenes!

        Why Hughes? Fulham were awful vs West Ham, no coincidence it was their first game w/o Dembele.
        Olsson covers McAuley/Ridgewell anyway.

            Jol is an attacking style manager, Fulham are unreliable and unpredictable for clean sheets, look at last season.
            Olsson is 'slightly' more nailed on than Ridgewell, who could suffer from rotation with Popov. I don't see it personally, as Ridgewell has been great and WBA have been good with him there, but there could be an argument for Olsson being the only nailed on WBA defender.

              Other then Foster 😉 maybe... fair enough with Fulham but still there is some good rotation with him.
              Ridgewell is the best on that defensive line up at WBA for the possibility of getting the most points... mainly due to his attack threat

        Fulham are leaky and Hughes will get you nothing attack wise. Olsson will get you same points as Ridgewell or McAuley save for a ery seldom goal bonus.

    Sorted some of the no-PL weekend boredom by picking a very sketchy CL team. Don't like the changes they've made. Can't see the team I picked under My Team only under Transfers and in there it doesn't display which players are playing on Day 1 and Day 2 . No option for a 2 man defence. The arsey slide bar to choose price with a mind of it's own is no addition either !

      I think he is not so bad, part of a very good stretch last season, only a liability in the air. Need Ferdinand and Vida to step up when balls come in to the box and he will be fine.

      surely the best right side because of the defensive cover with united loading up the centre with attacking players

      5.5/6 is a cheap way into to their defence with a load of attacking potential rolled in with rafael
      ...we all have defended on the bench as cover (with most of us 3 at the back )if he is rotated

        As you can see, I made a team at the last minute (good job the site held up back then), pretty indifferent to it all. I suddently became addicted.

        Unfortunately, that mean becoming a transfer addict, Took me months to realise I didn't have to just play 442!

                Yep. When i first registered i could only pick from two teams. And i brought some strange players in like Falcao, who is playing in the Europa league! It's mended now but some of the data might be corrupt... Falcao did automatically change to a blank picture...
