Fantasy Champions League Now Open

As many of you have already noticed, the official UEFA Champions League Fantasy game is now up and running. With Matchday 1 still 10 days away, the current break in domestic action gives us the perfect excuse to start assessing the fixtures and assembling our 15-man squads before the big kick-off:

Matchday 1 gets underway on Tuesday September 18 and the first night’s action hands City a trip to the Bernabeu to face Jose Mourinho’s Real Madrid, while Arsenal are also on the travels, with Olivier Giroud returning to face his previous employers, Montpellier. Chelsea get their defence up and running the following evening with a home clash against Juventus, while United welcome Galatasaray to Old Trafford.

Once again, we shall be offering coverage across the Matchdays for those in the community who plan on participating. At the moment, we’re also considering the possibility of running with another Champions League game in conjunction but for now, here’s the official Scout League code for the UEFA Fantasy game:

      Alex instead of Jallet

      Maicon and City will be a rotation risk plus their group isn't going to be easy.

      I hate Robben and Mandzukic could be sufficient for Bayern.

      And I prefer Tony V or Cazorla over Hazard. Chelsea have so many midfielders and I think there will be plenty rotation.

      You've completely sacrificed your midfield and defense for your attack, you need to look at losing either Ibra or CR7.

        I know but I'm willing to take that risk. Maybe.

        I don't think the defense is too bad. All starters of teams that should go through. 3 fullbacks, a midfielder in Vidal and Malaga have started the season solidly. And the midfield all have goals in them. Ibra's the only one scoring for PSG at the moment and Ronaldo's always going to score despite being in a tricky group so I am finding it hard to choose between them.

      Kagawa totally not worth it in that position. Diaby not going to get you much in terms of big points, Nene is a cheaper option than Pastore.

        I wouldn't be so sure about Kagawa...I think European games are where he will thrive, quite likely we'll see him behind the striker especially in away games, and we know he can score goals. With United's group I fancy some coverage and think he'll get more points than Valencia.

          im still not 100% sure on lihtensteiner as I cant understand why hes so cheap, but he has played all games so far. Vidal is my favorite defender so far, I mean crazy OOP and a pen taker for a top team, Baines on steroids.

      Ramos is tempting at the price but I don't think they'll keep many clean sheets in that group. I don't like Terry either as the Chelsea defence is woeful at the moment and I don't think we'll keep any clean sheets against Juve or Shakhtar.

      Like your forward line, I have Ibra instead of RVP though. Maybe I'll reconsider.

      Is Puyol good to play? I haven't seen him in awhile, although the only Barca match I watched was last weekend. I'd go with Jordi Alba.

      Don't like puyol or evra (rotation risk imo) and don't know burak-yilmaz but like the rest a lot, pretty solid.

        My stepfather is turkish, so I tune in to Turkish matches whenever I remember. He's great, and he did very well for Galatasary last season. I think 33 goals in 34 appearances.

      Its pretty good. I spent alot of hours on that game.. kinda dip into it every now and then still.

      So much to do in that game.

      Fallout 3 is even better though.

      i've passed pretty much every quest in in. game time stats show 340 hours played.
      i'm level 61.

      it's one of the best games ever if you like RPG. would definitely recommend it.

          Frankly, my PC specs are pretty low. I have 8 gigs of RAM with a 500 GB HDD to with the intel i3 second generation 3.1 GHz with built in intel HD graphics. I also have a shit 21 inch monitor.
          When I played Skyrim (which was a while back) I had some shit 1GB graphic card that I had borrowed from my friend just for the game

        Skyrim and Fallout 3 are amazing to look at imo and are really good at getting you in the immersed but imo the stories aren't brilliant pretty generic. If you want an RPG with a story try Fallout New Vegas and Mass Effect ignoring the ending of the final game.

            Mass Effect 1 you might be a bit lost in terms of a story. The series had a genuinely brilliant idea in that you would import your save from the previous game and depending on actions you took the game could take a radically different path depending whether you killed someone/ completed a mission. Sadly as you can imagine there would end up being a ridiculous number of changes to the point it would almost be 3 different games sadly they didn't have enough manpower/time/money to do it properly. I'd also recommend other Bioware games they're the best company for RPG's i found when i still had enough time to play them properly.

      I don't really rate Podolski. Cazorla is a beast, and you can get better value up front in Berba/Fletcher/Lambert/Jelly
