The ScoutCast – Episode Eighty Three – Kids

The latest episode, created mid-afternoon today, was not recorded amidst a playground, although, at times, the background noise and smutty innuendo would suggest as much.

While the fruit of our loins play merrily in adjacent rooms, Granville and I retire to find some quiet and systematically pull apart another week of Fantasy football with all the usual regulars thrown in. Granville has a 22-point lead to show for his efforts, while I’m doing all I can to remain calm after what can best be described as a false start. The green arrows are coming. Surely they’re coming?

    Yea I'm one of those that got Suarez last week too ;). I mainly want a Chelsea player to captain this week the others I can't get unless it's either for a hit or for Cazorla which I don't want to do. There is also no way I'm selling Suarez or Tevez this week either, so that leaves me RVP and I'm not all that excited by his fixtures either.

  I'd play Fletcher over Sterling personally. Stoke are harder to break down than city, and if city do concede it is almost guaranteed to involve Fletcher. Liverpool can easily score without Sterling being involved, and I doubt they'll get more than 1 personally.

Do you guys think it's possible to go the whole season, or at least alot of it, without RVP?

I haven't had him yet and I'm doing okay (30k-th overall). Got by with Tevez + Fletchers form and one off weeks from the likes of Torres and last time our Jelavic.

Long term is it worth me just making the funds available and getting him in or is it feasible you can have a strong year without him being a main option?

  Suarez does look in good knick but honestly it won't surprise me at all if RVP outscores him over the next 4/5 weeks even with RVPs tougher fixtures.

  I don't really like the move myself, I think I'd rather have RVP than Suarez this week, all else equal. Stoke are tough to break down, Newcastle are beat up. I'd just sit on the freebie and do the moves after the break if they still look good. And with Suarez playing Reading, it probably will look good...
