The ScoutCast – Episode Eighty Eight – The Manchurian

Granville may well be exotic but he’s not Manchurian, despite what the spellcheck told me a few weeks back. He’s also a happy man. Winning on all fronts, he’s dishing out “one helluva beating” to yours truly right now.

Reveling in his position of power, the Hungarian Mancunian brings me to task on my jerky knee transfers, with the regular ScoutCast favourites scattered around that particular discussion.

Get your ears around our foreign tongues via this link or stream the nonsense through the player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Any news on McAuley? I planning a 4 pointer for Kaca & Suarez but I'll be a defender down if McAuley's injured. Really need some news

This is the week of the hit.

A makes sense for the value and goal threat. Question marks against Silva and Giroud imo.

        A) Demel to Wilkinson
        B) Tevez to Berbatov

Shame you can't do b) with Sterling.

I'd probably just do Wilson -> Gorkss (keeps a freebie rolled forward, adds a bit to your bank, and gives you a DGW defender for a few weeks time).

Pretty ridiculous IMO. I would understand if it would be applicable to qualifiers, but friendlies are just ridiculous.

Federations need to get a grip on the money and stakes involved. Im surprised players like Aguero are allowed to travel for pointless exhibition matches, when thier respective teams rotate them domestically to ensure less fatigue.

Good on Senegal, imo. If most countries took this line then there wouldn't be all these bollocks 'injuries' every time friendlies come around. I think you should either play for your country, and be available every game (unless you have a GENUINE injury), or not at all. Not able to pick and choose when you want to play.

For me - Sterling on the bench. Taarabt has twice the number of shots as nearest midfield competitor over the last two weeks, he's right up there for chances creates too and is at home to the worst defensive side in the league.

I'd bench Sterling. Wigan at Anfield has created all sorts of problems for Pool earlier and Wigan is stronger this year. Then again, Suarez is firing 250 % right now..

Saints will leak goals away and Michu will be one of the main contenders for points in that Swansea team.
