The Big Numbers – Gameweek 31

Another classy display from Santi Cazorla sees the Spaniard lead the way in this week’s ICT Index figures, holding off the charge from West Ham’s Andy Carroll and Sunday’s efforts from Luis Suarez. As always, our members are free to investigate all the Opta data from around this weekend’s matches in our members area. However, we’ve put in some leg work on their behalf, picking out the numbers that piqued our interest, whilst pointing out some statistical trends over the last four and six Gameweeks.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

What to do with my FT this GW?
I`m playing my WC after this GW so the transfer can be short term.

    Bego
    Turner Davies Johnson
    Bale Cazorla Michu Sissoko
    RVP Suarez Lambert

Subs: Bunn Fellaini (sus) Harte Clyne
I`ve got 1 FT, and 0.0 M in the bank

maybe harte to wilson with a view to selling begovic for someone cheaper, depending if you can sell harte for 3.9. i'd consider selling michu, i did on friday, got a bit caught out, but i personally don't see him as essential for run in. nice team tho all in all.

I'm in a similar boat. I'm considering swapping RVP for Ba. I'm also considering Silva to Lampard, you could maybe swap Cazorla for Lampard/Hazard since it's just for one week.

2 keepers I have, Bunn & Mignolet. Bunn could be out soon enough with Ruddy comin back, Sunderland are a bit crap and have Chelsea up next. Should I bring in a dooblie keeper/Fab/Jaas etc this week? That's my question for the week. Savour it. Bathe in it's eloquence & probable insipid..ness. Is insipidness a word? Should I bin Bunn? Gone on a bit now. I'm insipid. Typical.

Don't do a double GK transfer unless its free and you have no other pressing matters.
Just wait till confirmation of the DGW and get in DDG (or Jaask) for Mig?

Just want one keeper to see me thru to end of season, so Bunn or Mig's got to go. Ideally Mig-Fab so I can save some cash, but need a keeper that will play every game if I do get rid of Mig. Lind may get a few games if Utd have wrapped things up with 5 games to play, so I'm wary of bringing DDG in.

Maybe you won't believe me but: Rafa is the best choice that we have for the last 7 games of the season PL + EL + FA Cup. No quality around and not enough time for someone to took over and makes a change. We just play him till the end of season. Top 4 is his aim. He should succeeded.

I have 2 memories of Di Canio.

The pushing of the referee obviously.

Also, the one people seem to forget. I think they were playing against Everton? Cannot recall for sure. One of the opposing teams players went down hurt and the ref waved play on. The ball was crossed to Di Canio who had an easy chance to score but he caught the ball and insisted the play was halted to go back for the injury, denying himself and his team a goal.

Hi Jonty, I saw a while back you asked me where I was from. We actually live in the same town! I remember from when you posted on here about your dog. In fact you actually met my mum I think, when you went into the college to ask about it. Small world.

Only been to see Yeovil play a handful of times if truth be told, but thought it was a nice thing to name my team after.

it's a gamble of absolutely epic proportions, this will either a) work out majestically with an incredible transformation, or more likely b) utter and complete disaster accompanied by relegation and a big pay off to di canio when they realsie how big a mistake it all was, and the reputation of everybody involved ruined forever

I remember him throwing a tantrum on the pitch for not getting a penalty on a couple of occasions, and walking to the touchline and asking 'Arry to take him off. 'Arry wasn't having any of it and then West Ham did get a penalty and Di Canio stepped up and fired it home.

What a character. I know he holds some quite extreme views, but are we still allowed to like him?

Barry Glendenning ‏@bglendenning Initial thoughts: they'll still get relegated, but at least the Metro will run on time.

Blimey! Clearly the Fantasy Football capital of the world! I'm 23 and I went through Crispin etc about 7 or 8 years ago!

You've got a nice rank as well, so between you me and Jonty is it possible that Street is the highest ranked town in the U.K.?

23 eh? I'm 23 too. What are the chances? Pretty high, I guess.

        Classy rank Jonah!

Must be something in the water down here! I'm 28 and I saw how well you're doing - I was going to comment on your team but never got round to it!

    Schneiderlin, thoughts?

Also, what are Sissoko owners doing? Shipping for DGWer, or keeping for FUL at home...?

Keeping for now then most likely shipping for Fellaini

Keeping for now, dumping on the wildcard.

Even if you didn't have a wildcard, I'd say he'd be a prime candidate to dump for Fellaini or someone like that.

Useful as a cheap 5th mid but doesn't have a DGW so not someone I'd be looking to transfer in.

Didn't get to watch the game, but does Studge looks like he'll continue to be benched?

Great news for Suarez owners, I guess.

i think coutinho offers a different option where sturridge is not required. tho i heard he had a slight knock today, if that means anything

I'm pretty chuffed as I took him out for a hit. Then again, I've had a miserable gameweek, yet again. 🙁

Coutinho was great, Downing pretty meh. Sturridge has been poor lately and is still struggling a bit after that injury sustained against City. He`ll be back in against West Ham, i reckon. Doesnt really affect Suarez owners all that much, imo.

Any ideas, currently- cesar, Davies, sagna, evra, snodgrass, sissoko, cazorla, bale, Suarez, sturridge and Rooney. Walcott as first sub and oshea & 2 cheapuns.. 0.5 in the bank and 1ft having used wildcard already.. Also, chances of evra starting upcoming fixtures again?
