There are no brown envelopes in sight; this “bung” is firmly placed in my nasal passages as I clamber from my man-flu grief pit to sit alongside Granville and take my Gameweek medicine. After seeing me off by 21 points, it’s only fair I gave my co-host his moment of glory, regardless of being short of match fitness.

Somehow we end up arguing about Robin van Persie once again, before taking a gander at the bandwagons rolling and preview the weekend’s action the only way we know how: by rambling endlessly and singling out some dubious player picks along the way.

Looking at WALCOTT's Phenomenal RECORD vs Spurs, i can easily forget about captaining Silva or RVP.
Walcott has struck more times against Tottenham than against any other side in the Premier League. Danny Rose could struggle against Walcott; the Arsenal man evaded Rose while he was on loan at Sunderland last season to set up the only goal of the Gunners' 1-0 win at the Stadium of Light.
Seems a slightly risky but Explosive Captain choice as compared to Silva & RVP. In the end, Go with ur gut feeling.

  I have one pb with Walcott this year.. It's Giroud's form..
  Giroud is now THE Arsenal forward..
  last year Walcott had a lot of goals in him because he was a fighting for that forward spot..
  This year we can consider him as a winger... He has opportunities to score and he's still dangerous but not as appealing as before imo..
  That's my feeling this year from what I've seen so far..

    hmm, interesting. Although u cant deny that Walcott is involved in most of Asenal's attacks, so he still has a good chance of picking up an assist or a goal.

  Stats don't lie but I think there's more to consider.
  
  -4 cleansheets in 4 for spurs. Watched almost the whole 360 minutes and don't even think they've really looked like conceding
  -Having midfielders like Capoue makes a big difference, his defensive stats look pretty impressive
  -Red card last year obviously opened the floodgates.
  
  Conversely, Silva is at home to a team widely tipped for relegation. If City are serious title contenders, they will win this, and they should win by plenty.
  
  Having said that, it's a NLD, anything goes

    True that, Spurs do seem to be giving the defensive side of their game more thought these days. The new formation has helped them keep the team shape intact.
    
    Silva can easily pick up assists for fun vs Hull, but its the goalscorer that gets the max bonus these days.

For all those who were previously sceptical about the amount of price rises that would occur during the International break, do we still feel that way following the activity that has taken place this week?

I have been encouraged by the rises that have happened this week, that the break will still be a good time to build value, and that there will be enough rises to take advantage of if playing your WC.
