As Tottenham’s momentum under Tim Sherwood continues to build, two of their first-team have emerged as leading contenders for our Fantasy attention. Since the departure of Andre Villas-Boas, Emmanuel Adebayor has played a part in six (three goals and three assists) of Spurs’ 11 goals over five matches, whilst Christian Eriksen has chipped in with three goals and an assist.

With 36 points apiece in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game, many wildcard drafts currently include one of the duo in light of Sherwood’s penchant for attacking football. Both are still very favourably priced, with Adebayor slightly more expensive at 7.8 to 7.3 and, as interest intensifies, we cast an eye over the pair’s recent displays and also compare them to other options in their respective classifications.

      Good point , I think it's psychological at this stage ,
      People feel Kos will get more Baps and more of a goal threat - but picks up yellows / odd red as well.
      But true Sagna is equal and more chance of assist but is injury prone ,
      So not to sit on fence get Mertsacker !

    D) Mertesacker (My Keeper is Sczcesny though)

    Do you think Cole will be replaced by Ivanovic next game?

    Zabaleta is likely to start but he's less likely to score/assist than Kolarov.

    I'm not sure if Pellegrini will play Kolarov for over 60 minutes. I want clean sheet points if Man City keep one.

    What would you do? I am willing to put a Man City defender in for just this week and transfer them out for the next two weeks.

    Question: Do you think Aguero has a chance of outscoring Suarez this weekend?

    If you think that's a yes then you should (C) Aguero if you have him I think. Everybody, EVERYBODY will captain Suarez this week. If you put the (C) on Aguero and he does outscore Suarez then would be a huge differencial.

    I haven't convinced myself to do this yet, but do think there is potentially an amazing play to be made this weekend. Won't be many more weekends with the same set of circumstances to take advantage of.

      Not captaining Suarez makes sense, but the guy is ridiculous and the % stats of top 10k Suarez (C) are always so high that it's not worth taking the risk. Having Aguero in your team is enough as the differential

        Yeah, this is definitely true. Though the % of top 10k with Suarez as (C) to me feels like more of a reason to go for Aguero. (I'm just outside top 10k btw, so looking to break it)
