Paddy Power Special – 4/1 on Liverpool to Win or 9/1 on Chelsea to Win

As the top two prepare to go head-to-head in a potential title decider at Anfield later today, Paddy Power has come up with something a little different for those yet to register an account.

Our bookmaker friends are tempting us with an offer of either 4/1 for Liverpool to take all three points and end the visitors’ quest for the crown or 9/1 for Jose Mourinho’s to clinch victory on Merseyside instead.

If you’ve already got an account with Paddy, you can still benefit from a Money Back Special on offer at Anfield. Paddy are offering refunds on all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score and Scorecast bets should Steven Gerrard score at any time during the match.

To clarify, the Liverpool and Chelsea specials are limited to a £10 stake, open to new Paddy Power customers only and subject to the terms and conditions specified. New customers can only opt for one of the two offers.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Today's result will be largely influenced by Matic's performance. Here's hoping for a fantastic performance.

Surely every fan that isn't a Citeh, Chelsea or Everten/UTD fan wants Liverpool to win the league...

I know I do.... played some great football this year and it would be nice for them to finally win it

Prefer them this year to City or Chelsea and I'm a United fan. General consensus amongst people I know is that Gerrard deserves one even though a lot of their fans would be pretty unbearable.

why would there fans be any worse than others.

I know a lot of scousers and I think they will basically just be relieved as feck to have finally done it... Unlike UTD / CITEH / Chelski fans who would gloat and most defintely be unbearable

Pool have the best football but have Suarez and Gerrard

B - gives you an extra game for the top scoring mid this season - yaya ,
plus will City keep a cs at Everton ? I think utd have a better chance of 2 cs than city.
IMO Jones will play both games for utd ,
The norm this week will be -4 /-8 ,

All of us give and take advice on FFS and do well (or not sometimes)... But most of us end up having more or less template teams sometimes...

Overall at end of season, we all are in a good position. Was just wondering if any FFS regulars have topped a GW at GW Rank 1 going away from the regular template teams.

Must be a liverpool fan with all of this talk of history! 🙂

Lets have a gentle and wager.

If evra misses a game you have to have a picture of Jason dozzell as your gravitar all of next season. If evra plays every minute of the remaining games, I will have a crap picture of uncle Albert next season.

So are people breaking their teams to bring in Rooney and Mata or just settling for one (probably Rooney)?

Lukaku to Rooney is a done deal, just not sure how I'd fit Mata in without either selling Nasri or doing multiple hits to downgrade in defense

In hindsight I should have done the Lukaku > Rooney transfer. My reasoning was fair enough - I wanted to see Giggs' line-up before gambling on United players, which nearly paid off when Mata didn't start, but then he went and score 2 goals anyway 😆

I brought in Ramsey and Aguero and Koscielny for a -8 and didn't even have Rooney or mata.

Now I have bought Rooney and Valencia for a hit.

I would still stay clear of Mata personally, lets be honest its pretty lucky to score twice in 30 mins. I don't think he will play every game from now on in and then there is the chance of RVP coming back and further muddying the waters.

I know, that's exactly why I waited til this week, but his great form means he will probably get at least 90 mins over the DGW (against favourable opposition at home), with the potential of getting more.

I'm chasing my ML and need a differential of around 50 points (unlikely but it's not over till it's over).
Is this worth a -8 hit for the DGW:

    De Gea*
    Koscielny City/United Defender* Flanagan
    Nasri* Johnson* Ramsey Yaya/Mata *
    Jelavic* Aguero* Rooney*

Transfers I'd be making would be Smalling for a different defender, Suarez for Jelavic, and Puncheon for Yaya/Mata.

    a) Yes or no?
    b) Yaya or Mata?
    c) Which defender?

If Mata had started we might have ended up with the same problems. No pace, no penetration, sitting on the edge of the box making neat passes. Welbeck is needed in the side until we get better CM's and wide men.
