      A lot of Arsenal fan journalists are taking the view Sanchez is off to Arsenal. I wonder why?

      The fact is, Liverpool have offered more money than Arsenal and this player and his agent are all about the cash.

      However, Sanchez is SCARED about the pressure of replacing Suarez, whereas at Arsenal he'll replace Carzorla who is off.

      My gut is he'll end up at Arsenal as they'll match the 150k LFC are offering plus the prospect of living in London.

            See there's some conjecture there, I'm not in a position to say what every journalist's skew is towards but may I ask how you know this?

            I'm not saying anything about not saying it but if we're going to go the freedom of speech angle then I've just as much right to express doubt over it.

            On an overall scale I think Liverpool would be better off without him and using that money on someone else but everyone is Sanchez obsessed lately. Pool can put that money to use elsewhere.

                Honestly there's nothing personal, you see me got on others backs over transfer stuff as well. It's just that it only ever seems to be Liverpool related, it sounds like you have many more contacts than I do and I'd genuinely love to hear some info from other clubs. Example being you know a lad in Spurs, that's a pretty useful source!! Genuinely, I'm not taking a pop at you at all.

                See it depends on what they actually want to put money into. Financial Fair Play is a bit of a bummer but if they can adjust for that I think there are a few. If they looked at a winger like Shaqiri they could spent bigger on a striker (for example Cavani wants out of PSG. I know it's a mad thought but I've seen Ozil sign for Arsenal and Mata sign for a United that were in trouble.) Bony looks to be the real deal up top in the PL as well. I think it's a situation where I think money could be invested in a few positions instead of just one. (Also, Sanchez being really against leaving Barca means he may have a stinking attitude if forced out)

                  I think others like Muniain or Fernando Llorente would be great targets. Iturbe is a good one. Even within the PL there's some big talent they could look at.

                  Essentially, Pool are at a cross roads and despite club rivalries etc. I would hate to see them going back down the table through silly moves.

                    Yeah, I agree with you on all of that.

                    I only see Liverpool transfer rumours posted here at the mo but i've posted a bit on United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs in the past. The Suarez deal is the BIG deal this summer, so what Liverpool do is on everyone's mind at the moment - particularly rival clubs.

                    Shaqiri could make the move to Liverpool soon, they are apparentley delaying on someone else (likely Sanchez). It would seem ludicrous to do that as it'll seem tos end a negative message to Shaqiri, but apprentley he's pushing to join them. Iturbe looks to be Juventus bound. Munian will only go for his release clause which is 36 mill or so. That's more than the 32 mill Barca want for Sanchez.

                      Aye, I've heard the same which I thought was insane as it does seem to tell him he's not as valued. But if he wants to go then hopefully they get that one done. Seems the way with Iturbe but hijacking a deal is possible certainly. I agree on Muniain but he's younger (a future star in my opinion) and wages would be lower. Bony I think would be fantastic as well because I think they need another strong striker (big fan of Lambert but I think another strong addition would be great)
