Fantasy Football Scout Sign Fenley & Bowers

Fantasy Football Scout are delighted to announce that last season’s winners of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) and Ultimate Fantasy Premier League (UFPL) – Tom Fenley and Alex Bowers (gavigan) – will be joining our ranks of contributors for the 2014/15 campaign.

Tom and Alex will be writing exclusively for Fantasy Football Scout, providing input to a number of articles over the pre-season to help guide your FPL and UFPL strategies. We’ve also got a few new ideas for regulars next season, with the pair hopefully chipping in with their knowledge and experience along the way.

Things are set to kick off this week, with Tom bringing us a two-part guide to using the Members Area, while Alex’s Ultimate Fantasy Premier League strategy guide is also scheduled for an airing.

    De Jong-Sanchez-Siggy-Lamela-9 mil (Probably Mata or Fabregas, havent decided yet)
    Rooney-Dzeko-6 mil

    How does this look? I will mainly be playing it as a 352, but might switch siggy and De Jong for my third striker depending on fixtures. Thanks!

    Also, is it worth becoming a member since this is my first year playing Fpl or is it for the more hardcore players? 🙂

      Nice enough team but very like lots of others on here. For me Lamela is far too much of a risk until we see how Spurs line up. I would go with someone safer for now.

        I have decided to pick out either Lamela or Eriksen depening on who they choose to play, and Lamela looks to be playing in the hole atm so currently have him in my team 🙂

          Fair enough. He could be great this season. Spurs have lots of competition in that midfield though and the new manager will presumably want to take a look at all of them and try different formations. Good luck with your first season, it can be a bumpy ride! 😉

    I worry that I'll miss a good run of points without Liverpool coverage. Would you drop Mata for Sterling, since Mata has to compete with Rooney (and RVP) for points?

      I'm going Begovic AND Pieters. Stoke were a bloody useful unit from the turn of the year (5th best team from the close of the transfer window to the finishing post) and they may well pick up where they've left off given their kind fixtures.

      Forget those Newcastle players imo.
