Those on the Naismith wagon what does Etoo's move there do to his game time potentially? I'm not trolling more curiosity could it mean Martinez changes his shape or is Etoo rotation with Lukaku?

That's why I went with Adebayor. I couldn't understand it.

Always though people on the Naismith wagon are there only for the $ and not for points.

Yes but surely his value will plummet if he's not playing

If Eto'o does sign, Naismith is defo at risk but the fact that Eto'o can be utilized on the wings and Naismith should be a better fit for the role in the hole, may make him safe till Barkley returns.

Eto'o won't be playing every game and Naismith was a bench fodder in my 3-5-2 anyway so I'm happy with price rises

Agree Sunny Naismith on bench now gives me

        Hazard/Fabregas/Ramsey/Siggy/ Sterling
        Costa/Rooney

messed up a bit, want Fab to be Silva

Is everyone waiting to get in Aguero after the international break? He might bag haul against Stoke even if he doesn't start.
But Aguero on international duty is a real turn off to get him in this early.

Bottom post on last page, apols for repost.

    Any advice on this lot?
0.1 in the bank, 0 FT

    Begovic/Elliot
    Clyne/Wisdom/Hutton/Ntaylor/Chambers
    Fabregas/Hazard/Ramsey/Siggy/Sterling
    Costa/Rooney/Naismith.

I dont really know what i was thinking with BOTH Hazard and Fabregas. Will hold for GW4 Swansea at home.

    Issues-
    Begovic- think i will hold
Haz and Fab- Long term Fab probably to Silva
Chambers- maybe to Dummnet/Colo when he loses his place
    Bad defense in general

Please feel free to tear apart, spot other problems i have or congratulate me on a fantastic team that is going to storm all my leagues and win me loads of cash.

Thanks, i wrote pre season that there seems so little value in the 5.0 and 5.5 defenders. Spurs now coming to the front but i usually survive on 4.5's at the back, works sometimes, disaster others

The Terry and Cahill money will come good. Another long term idea is Courtouis if Chech moves on. There will eventually be some Chelsea deference rotation i feel.

Is bringing in Jovetic now a good or bad move? Should hopefully hold his spot for a few weeks due to his performance on Monday, and also the fitness issues around Aguero, and potentially Dzeko.

Having not started with any city cover, a 7.9 striker that should play seems hard to dismiss.

    Cheers.

at your own risk imo. those who has him definitely will keep..but getting him in now is a risk. he should start aft his brace but u never know..and u have to be prepared to swap him out when he is inevitably benched again.

Defo worth it if Dzeko's out for long, otherwise I'd consider Ade and try and strech one of my premium Fwds to Aguero for city cover.

I mean it is "wrong" for me in the sense that:

Having agonised over whether to shift Mata to Fabregas last week (I didn't in the end), I thought I’d look at the immediate success/failure of the most popular kneejerks made last week. Of course there’s plenty of time for this to change around again in future GWs.

    Most popular transfers in:
Name GW1 pts Net transfers GW2 pts
    Sigurdsson 13 +381k 5
    Fabregas 11 +228k 6
    Dier 15 +138k 14
    Chester 15 +129k -2
    Berahino 13 +120k 2
    Sterling 13 +119k 2
    Cattermole 8 +54k 2

Most popular transfers out (excluding injuries/benched players):
Name GW1 pts Net transfers GW2 pts
    Giroud 1 -106k 5
    Mata 2 -94k 10
    Hazard 2 -49k 9
    Yaya 3 -48k 1
    Coutinho 2 -44k 1
    Howard 1 -41k 1
    Jovetic 2 -25k 13

I included Cattermole and Jovetic just for fun really – pretty amazed that anyone would think Cattermole is a good FPL option, long range strike in GW1 notwithstanding.

Conclusions- knee-jerking can work, e.g. Siggy, Fab and Dier, but often doesn’t. But you knew that already!

This is my crack convince you to change Caulker.

          - He is going to drop 0.1, which is as bad as 0.5 right now
          - You could get Naylor, who rotates with Chester really well
          - You get 0.5 for emergencies, which is gold

I know you will keep anyway. Caulker may get a goal this week.

I have three United players (Jones, Mata, Rooney), thanks to my start of the season draft, that I keep wanting to ditch. But then I look at their upcoming fixtures and convince myself that I should give it just one more week. Surely there must be at least two clean sheets against the three promoted sides...

Post from previous page. Gerard 2 bonus points on 3-1 losing side. Ever heard of a midfielder doing that?

Has there been any fitness update on G. Johnson, Skrtel and Moreno? All looked to take some hits late in last nights game.

Risky to take hits while there's a game on...

    What to do with Bony?

If he's going to get pulled on the hour each week then he has to go, plus it's che next week.

Ivanovic owners considering captaining him? Everton have conceded 4 goals in 2 games. Up against Baines who likes to get forward.

If ever I'd be tempted to captain him it's this week with relatively less clear (C) options elswhere. Will asses my option at the weekend though 🙂

just so happened that my two H2H opponents had Ivan as well, and both captained!

dont think he needs a cleanie to be amongst the points, he spent more time in the box then Costa

Better option for gameweek 3 and beyond?

    A) Costa + Sterling
    B) Sturridge + Lamela

    Some help please?

    Team for GW3.

    Krul (Foster)
    Terry Naylor Hutton (PVA Chester)
    Fab Ramsey Siggy Hendo (Marney)
    Costa Rooney Studge

    0 ITB.

Don't like the look of Hendo. Could downgrade Terry to upgrade midfield. Uncertain if I should continue with the big 3 upfront or go Kun, Ade, Jove etc...

Jovetic sh** on my holy trinity this week. 13 points from him, 10 from my "big hitters"
