      The people who pick them are very good ff players. Nobody expected stoke to win 1-0 against a city side who have been prolific for a long time

        Agreed. Not many people would have picked the likes of matic, Ramires and shawcross this weekend. I had eight of the picks this weekend too.

        No one would pick 3 Newcastle players. One didn't play and another was playing his first full match. Two Man City forwards were over-kill.

    2FT's, probably going to wait until nearer GW4. Which 2 do you prefer?

    c) Mata > Sterling/Lamela

    d) Jovetic > Adebayor

    Have a number of problems, and plan to take an 8 point hit this week. Which of the three options do you prefer?

    DDG
    Terry Chester Debuchy ( Caulker, Wisdom )
    Mata Ramsey Schurrle Siggy
    Rooney Aguero Naismith

    A) Rooney + Mata + Schurrle ----> Costa + Eriksen + Sterling + 1.2m
    B) Mata + Schurrle + Terry ------> Sterling/Fabregas + Eriksen + Ivanovic
    C) Terry + Schurrle + Rooney ----> Sturridge + Fabregas + Janmaat ( Keep Mata)

    Cheers 🙂

      You don't need a 8 point hit imo. You could keep Rooney? But if that's not what you'd like to do.

      Rooney > Ade
      Terry > Ivan or upgrade Schurrle to Fabgregas or Hazard.

      I'd want Costa in my frontline btw 😉

    Is this worth a -8 hit.

    Terry to Ivanovic
    Rooney to Costa
    Jovetic to Adebayor (depending on how he goes)

    Will give me
    Krul (Elliott)
    Ivanovic, Clyne, Chester (Hutton, Moore)
    Ramsey, Sterling, Fabregas, Siggy (Silva)
    Costa (c), Adebayor, Naismith

    I think I'll do the 1st 2 tonight (NZ time) to beat price changes for a -4. I might actually keep Jovetic as he seems to be hot & cold (1st game blank, 2nd game 2 goals, 3rd game blank so he could score a couple in gw4). I might use my 3rd transfer to go Moore to Dier or Rose. Spurs have signed the new defender but would they actually drop Dier who has been one of Spurs best players.

          Definitely worth monitoring. I get the feeling he'll be like Fabregas, class and just that slight edge better than most others but will be feeding the goal shooters. Hoping Rooney and RVP can get their radars sorted out

            I think these 2 weeks will be very helpful..sort out the final pieces of the team with 1-2 more signings and then have a bit more time to train together and gel..United still have 3 kind fixtures in a row (4 even if you want to consider attacking potential vs Everton)

          A lot of his clever passes and runs didn't come off because the other players didn't read them (and RVP was off the pace). Going forward things can only get better once the rest gel with Di Maria.

          However all that is undermined by the back 3 and wingbacks being out of position, making loose passes and lumping long balls over DiM's head.

            I think we'll eventually switch to a 4-3-1-2/4-3-3 formation once the window is closed..we already secured Blind and are rumored to be in for another CB and CM/DM

            1. andyinasia
              • 10 Years

              I see all these purchases as personnel to fit into his 3-4-1-2 system.
              Blind will be cover for DiM and Shaw (probably ousting Shaw as wing back).
              the CM/DM needs to be a Keane-like enforcer rather than Fletcher and the CB goes without saying.

    or mata means and 11.6 ITB needing a FW & MD

    Mata's transfers have been reset to 0. Doubt he'll even drop 0.1m this gw. Transfers stall during Int. break and pick up on Thursdats and Fridays before the start of gw 4.
