Fantasy iTeam Returns to the Scout

With the domestic action on a brief hiatus due to the upcoming internationals, we thought we’d give you an early heads-up on one of the Fantasy games already available for this season’s Champions League. Having supported Fantasy iTeam during the summer World Cup, we’re delighted to announce we’ll be teaming up once again ahead of the competition’s kick-off on Tuesday September 16.

Fantasy iTeam is a free Fantasy football app that’s available on a number of mobile devices, including iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Android. With many of you accessing this site and other apps on your mobile or tablets, Fantasy iTeam proved popular amongst the community during Brazil 2014, with a slick and reliable user interface making it a welcome addition to our Fantasy games of choice.

Free to download and play, you can already go in and start drafting up your starting XI with unlimited transfers right up until 10 minutes before the first kick-off. With an iPad mini on offer to the Fantasy Football Scout league winner, there’s no reason not to get involved.

We’ve already set up an official Fantasy Football Scout league for you to join – the league name is Fantasy Football Scout and the pin is 11155.

Furthermore, there are a number of prizes on offer for Fantasy managers. The winner of this season’s Fantasy iTeam game earns a VIP European Match Day Experience for two, whilst second and third spot collect £500 and £250 worth of Amazon vouchers respectively. There’s also a Manager of the Gamreround prize on offer, too – essentially, the Fantasy iTeam that accrues the most points for each individual Champions League Gameround wins a Red Letter Days Experience worth £150.

The Fantasy iTeam game also uses fluctuating player prices based on the transfer market, making it a wise idea to follow the current trends – the team with the highest value by the end of the tournament wins another £500 Amazon voucher.

If you’re looking to dabble in the Champions League this year and have a compatible device, then there’s really no reason not to click here for the official website and download the app.

We’ll continue our coverage of the Fantasy iTeam Champions League game over the next week or so. Next up, we’ll cast an eye over the rules before delving deep into the player price list for potential bargains.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Not worried about fixtures, as he's just a decent bench player for when Naismith eventually loses his place.

My finger is on the "make transfers" button.

    Rooney, Eriksen, Henderson OUT
    Falcao, Sterling, Powell IN

I cant afford a price rise so have to do it after tonights matches.

    "LOL @ STERLING"

I've noticed a lot of people who post on here become really annoyed when others cheer if certain players miss chances, lose their clean sheet, assist the assister, don't get any bonus despite a goal, etc.

Personally, I find that not owning a player with high overall ownership affects me more than what my own players are doing. As a non-Sterling owner, I wanted nothing more than him to draw a blank at White Hart Lane. He scored and I was in agony. As the match went on, he lost his bonus and didn't score or assist any more and I came out of that match feeling pretty good.

I was less bothered that Ramsey blanked in the next match. "Well it could be worse, Sterling could have gone on a rampage", I thought at the end of it.

What are everyone else's views on this? Is it wrong to 'LOL @ STERLING', or Aguero, or Jovetic, or Costa etc? I can see how that phrase in particular can wind people up, but is cheering for another player's misfortunes any worse that cheering for your own player's fortunes?

        That's exactly not it.

Sterling scoring will affect my overall rank (in a negative way) more than Ramsey scoring would affect my overall rank (in a positive way).

I find that relying on popular picks NOT scoring can be the difference between a good week and a bad week for me.

That's completely understandable - but smugly enjoying one of the players you don't own blanking (or being benched etc) is different than having to come on here at 'lol' at those that do own them.

Of course you are. You're laughing at the ones that don't have Ramsey. If absolutely everyone in the game has Ramsey, then his goal is no benefit to you.

It's the difference between enjoying a win for one of your team and jeering in the face of those in the losing team. One is understandable and fun, the other is kind of being a dick obviously

At the end of the day it's a game and of course it's normal to want to win and by the same token to want others to lose. We just need to all get over it especially the sensitive ones amongst us.

Just seen this now. It's just bad sportsmanship. It's fine to be happy that Rooney blanks. I was delighted last week as I had him but didnt captain. But it's not okay to shove it in the faces of people who did. 'Unlucky mate. hard luck. Better luck next time' all more civilized things to say than 'lol at Rooney owners' It just seems like a personal insult on them and uncalled for. At the end of the day, we're all here to have fun and there's no need to make others feel unnecassirly bad about themselves or their team

Is it me or chicarito is better than welbeck. Plus I would rather have Balo than welbeck 🙂 I stand by my judgement of welbeck.

I think he's rubbish. Good presser but that's it. Humble fella though.

Swiss team is quality. If we play like this we'll get humiliated. They were Top seeds in the wc for a reason

Yes, The reason being that FIFA are a bunch of corrupt useless bar stewards who don't know their erse from their elbow but don't give a toss as long as their pockets keep getting filled and no-one grows a pair big enough to do something about it and save our game from these evil gravy trainers.
        That covers 1 reason.

Ha! That's as good a reason as any.

Sepp Blatter - FIFA dictator for life.

Love the way you won't swear but you will accuse FIFA of corruption. Your completely right though. Money = corruption
