Sakho looks great value for someone wanting to rotate with big mids. £5.5m and has scored or assisted in the 3 games he has started this season. QPR (H) next.

Not a bad option. Ulloa is probably more nailed on though IMO and has good fixtures too.

I'm bringing Downing in today though so any west ham is a good option imo

Rick I replied to your post a few pages back about downing. Do you think that Nolan coming back would push downing out wide again?
Downing seems to create more for others in the middle, but out wide he has more shots it seems

I don't think Nolan will come straight in to this side. They are playing some good football and Nolan would disrupt that style I think.

Zarate looked awesome in the hole at Palace so he's a bigger worry.

That said, Downing is on set pieces and no team has had more attempts off corners than west ham so there's always that to fall back on, just like with fabregas.

      3-0 or 4-0.

Chelsea can get tight in big games and will destroy a naive Arsenal on the break. Spurs could have had 3 goals in the first half alone if they had been more clinical/less shite.

If Sanchez and Ox start I think they'll rip their fullbacks up. Can't see them keeping Arsenal totally quiet but Chelsea should get the win. They didn't destroy City and I don't think their defense has been that solid so far

    Begovic

Should have gone for Downing yesterday :/ Hopefully Ulloa can rise another 0.3 before then lol

trying to work out how poisonous balotelli will be for sturridge. a look at aguero's record with balotelli isn't very encouraging. there are famous occassions e.g the 6-1 v man utd and the aguerrrrroooooooooooooooo goal, but aside from those 2 i found just 1 other match where aguero scored with balotelli on the pitch http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/spielbericht/index/spielbericht/1131599
i don't trust rodgers to not play balotelli and it's really put me off sturridge (sterling seems enough)

he could be the better striker choice, which tbh puts me off them both. balo can't finish his dinner unless the plate is put on the penalty spot

I read a good article today about his bad conversion rate and anyone watching Milan can confirm. That he had to take so many long shots and create his own chances, a bit like suarez when he first came to the pl. He is getting much more shots in the boxand has been unlucky Imo. I thinking he is a nice sleeper at the moment

They linked up really well vs spurs. I think sturridge's runs will give Balotelli the space he needs

I agree I saw aguero and ballo at church (etihad) first hand . Ballo's selfishness on the ball is unparalleled, couple that with his shooting ability and you have a potential nightmare for studge owners

    6. Ludo
      • 10 Years
      9 years, 7 months ago

      Hmm.

Didn't Mancini play Aguero in behind Balotelli though? Would likely be more of a flat front two at Liverpool. Also, compared to Aguero in that shape, Sturridge would still be making plenty of runs in behind the opposition's backline, and would certainly not be anywhere near as prone to looking for the pass rather than the shot.

I think they will work very very good together, it's the two players in the league that has the most shots per game (I know it doesnt tell the whole story, i.e ballo long shots, but still)

    Siggy/Ramsey/Sterling/ADM/Marney
    Pelle/Rooney/Costa

    0.0 ITB

Bad keeper. Only 3 nailed defenders with Cahill's value rapidly dropping. Ramsey And Rooney out. Not sure what to do from here, bad fixtures for my three nailed defenders as well (Arsenal, Leicester and Spurs) Marney also injured just to rub salt in the wounds 🙁
Rooney is also about to drop and I don't like the fact that I would have to make my transfer early to get in Aguero. Just before UCL fixtures

Trouble with downgrading Rooney to someone like Ulloa, Sahko or even Dzeko is you lose one valuable captain option. Was set on Ulloa, but now not so sure.

It's immaterial if I push the WC button after the end of the gameweek, but a little loathed to do that as my rank is fine and I'll probably end up fecking it up 🙂

Terry clyne chambers ( wisdom Baird )
Ramsey Siggy sterling di Maria ( Cattermole )
    Rooney Costa Naismith

About to pull the trigger on:

    Rooney ---- Aguero
    Naismith ---- Ulloa for -4.

I know I should be getting rid of Ramsey first but seeing as it will be -4 anyway, dare I just play Cattermole and wait on Ramsey til following week?
