Paddy Power Special – 5/1 for City to Win or 14/1 for United to Win

With the first Manchester derby of the season set to take place later today, Paddy Power are rolling out a tempting offer for those yet to register an account. With City set to welcome United to the Etihad this afternoon, our bookmaker mates are offering odds of 5/1 for Manuel Pellegrini’s men to arrest their recent poor form and grab a win or a massive 14/1 on Louis van Gaal’s emerge victorious:

If you already have an account with Paddy, though, you can still take advantage of a Money Back Special. Paddy will refund all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score & Scorecast singles on the match as a free bet if it ends in a draw.

To clarify, both the City and United enhanced odds special is limited to a £10 stake, open to new Paddy Power customers only and subject to the terms and conditions specified. New customers can only opt for one of the two offers.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Morning all. Anyone with me on this plan:

Siggy out for Downing, then Pelle out for Bony GW13.

Bony obvious pick for Swansea's 2 plum home games right?

      Soggy out works
But I myself don't see selling pelle as a move no matter what team he faces..

If QPR can score against Chelsea
Why can't saints (virtually the team of the season with Chelsea)

What will you do when Southampton's fixtures turn worse soon... get rid of all defensive coverage or keep Clyne or Bertrand? They have kept delivering cleen sheets, really impressing...but their fixtures look truly awful soon. Any opinions ?

And secondly, Pelle...hold or get rid ?

I have feeling they will keep on performing well, but fixtures just starting to look really awful...fixtures over form or not ?

I'm keeping Pelle and Bertrand. At least to see how they react to playing better teams. My guess (hope) is that the confidence they've built up will serve them well. I think it may take injuries to derail the Saints express. I hope they don't get any.

I have Clyne, Chambers and Bertrand as my back 3, and I will certainly get rid of one, and think about getting rid of the other if there is a decent option.

If you had to choose, would you go 3-5-2 with Downing or stick with 3-4-3 with Sakho.

Also, what is this FFF saying it will get you in the top 1% if you follow their algorithms?

      I have both
      Tough to choose one..

Downing is a bonus point magnet..
He can get u 3 bonus with just an assist all thanks to the balls he gets into the box..
Fff is awesome fore price ruse and falls but their algos aren't great..they keep telling me to sell the saints defence and get Chelsea defence..also whatever happens sell ADM get soggy..I don't like these moves so I ain't following optimization on it

Went to the NUFC -v- Liverpool match yesterday, Sterling looked out of sorts & pool had no spark at all. Thinking of transferring him out with the masses to bring back Di Maria (last weeks transfer/ captain looks like it might have been successful for a change as I'd swopped Di M. out for Sanchez) but I'd have to take a hit & replace Siggy with Jedinak to make the following if anybody can give me their opinions please.
    Guzan/Given
    Bertrand, Baines, Hutton, Wisdom, Duff,
Jedinak, Di Maria, Eriksen, Sanchez, Tadic,
Aguero, Pelle, Berahino. Leaving zilch in the bank.

Wow, I think you´re failing to realise the gravity of your situation...

          might be right...?

Well I bet the good news is you haven´t taken any hits...lol

That looks good above. Jedinak might even pay dividends for you. I´ve gone Haz and Fab to offset, the Costa market volatility. City is another story I chose to abstain from Aguero as I saw the point haul hangover and subsequent sheep point chasing to follow.

    Did this last night:

Siggy and Sterling and Naylor -> Downing and Sanchez and Saylor (-4)

Boomboom did good? My team now:

    Begovic gilks
    Clyne Chambers Wisdom Duff Saylor
    Fabregas DiMaria Sanchez Downing Obertan
    Aguero Costa Pelle

      Unless I do this ....

      Tadic & Welbeck > Sanchez & Sakho

      For -4pts, I'm struggling.

Not sure if he's worth the hit.

He is indeed expensive, and fixtures don't look that good, they are ok, but they are not playing against Burnley every week. If he were just cheaper... Probably he will do well, but will he be good value for money?

          Fixture proof...

Pretend he´s Vidal...you cannot explain 45% of his goal production outside of situational stickto-it-ivness and desire...

At any other top 4-5 team there would be team mates regulating passes out of jealousy...but with Arsenal he is their floatation device.

Yep me too... you think the Sanchez hype is big... wait till Theo gets back & smashes in a few hattricks, that'll sort the men (and women) from the boys (and girls) 🙂

Yeh I'm just not sold on him at that price tbh, he's obviously ridiculously good & a class FPL player already... but I like the balance my team has without him & I still have Dat Guy & Chambers as Arsenal coverage.

Can´t have a balanced car with a slick tire...you need to find a way to ´rotate´ the Welbz tire out and make room for the third Arsenal player.

We need traction when it rains ehh..

He's the 1st successful transfer in of my season ( I hope. Took Di Maria out then captained him). Likely to be in it for a few weeks I think.

        I know, needs to go.

        Little funds though.

Do you think Tadic is flattering to deceive fpl wise?

With the exception of the 20 pointer, a touch of the Modrics ??

You would have got an assist vs Sunderland at least.
Doubt Modric had stats like his.

I wouldn´t spazz this week for him...but you´ll want him by United...or a squad offset, like Ramsey, Walcott or Ox/Wilshere, essentially what I did with Chelsea to hedge not having an unreliable Costa, like this week.

You´ve probably spent the past two weeks keeping your head cool about him, but if blacks-out against the Swans...which I doubt, it may force your hand...or lock you out altogether.

very decent...you´ll be strapped w Siggy though a lil too top heavy for my liking...defense is screwed fixture wise with Clyne the only one I would feel confident starting weekly.

Same starting XI as me apart from Bertrand instead of your Clyne.

Jesus - I've just looked at the weeks I've captained Kun... he's actually been close to a disaster!!
Only for the spurs game his captain scores would be rubbish.
I wonder is that a sign that he'll trend back up towards his underlying stats today & score heavily... or that City are struggling for form & Kun will struggle as a result.
At his price, he needs to start doing more imo.

    GW3 Stoke Home 2 points (4)
    GW5 Chelsea Home 2 points (4)
    GW8 Spurs Home 19 points (38)
    GW9 Wham Away 2 points (4)

Average =25/4 = ~6 points per game in weeks where I've captained him
Yet my team is still top 5k... weird...

will try to get walcott after int break.

Should i get him for sanchez (easy transfer, gives me some money) or try to get him for tadic and play sanchez and walcott?

for tadic mate, you´re gonna want them both...my estimate is about 65-80% of the points will be stemming from one or both of them. Definitely wait the Champions league round out and make sure he has no set-backs. Arsenal have about 8-10 goals in the next 2-3 matches.
