Team A or Team B for the double? Taken the plunge and dropped Kane, probably for the season now. Sink or swim. Both team have 9 doublers plus Silva and Aguero. Almost boils down to whether you want Fabregas in there or double Chelsea defence. I feel as though Mourinho is now shutting up shop as he usually does at the business end, so I can see a clean sheet run and therefore B appeals more.

    Team A (3-4-3)

    Schmeichel
    Terry, Skrtel, Schlupp
    Hazard(c), Fabregas, Silva, Henderson
    Aguero, Sturridge, Vardy

Fabregas and Sturridge become Sanchez and Giroud in GW36.

    Team B (3-5-2)

    Schmeichel
    Ivanovic, Terry, Skrtel
    Hazard(c), Silva, Sterling, Henderson, Cambiasso
    Aguero, Vardy (Giroud)

Giroud on bench saves a transfer, and I'll downgrade Ivanovic in GW36 to fund Sterling to Sanchez.

    Thoughts?

Depends on Sturridge's fitness. If he's out Sterling plays up top and obviously you choose him. Otherwise Henderson (who my wife used to teach incidentally, taught him all he knows).

well I still think there is feck all between them.

hendo is cheap as chips, a lot of set pieces and a much improved playmaker these days. his price makes him a keeper I reckon.
sterling is back in good form, giving defenders nightmares again. still lacks final product but constantly making chances for himself and others.
coutinho, he can have my babies. love him. have him just behind sterling because of sterlo's more explosive potential and high ownership.

its a lottery which will do better on any given gameweek. I'll go hendo and sterling for 34 then probably lose sterlo after 35 as I want two arsey mids

Monitor Sturridge. If he's out for a while, Sterling. If not, Hendo. Hendo is on pens, set pieces, picks up BAPS frequently and is cheaper.

It was an odd moment. I think what heaped some extra belief that he had scored into the mind was the overall chance. Great ball out to him on a silver platter, not a lot of defense closing him down. It was like I thought he scored before he even shot it.

It is looking rather horrid with their fixtures coming up:

WHM, NEW, LEI have the best run in, in terms of favorable fixtures, worth a look?

moving from Pants Myhill to Davis Schmikes I think.

Yeah I think young is a great option. It's a nice wildcard team. I would actually consider having Silva in there. With their fixtures, and his superiority over someone like coutinho, you'd wonder if the extra fixture makes up for it.

not memories of benched points - i'd just prefer one stronger pick + a playing cheap mid (if 3-4-3) or cheap fwd (3-5-2).

Going cheaper on Young and say Jenkinson, would allow Benteke instead of Vardy which you can play week in week out for the run in. Rather than rotating 2 budget players in the off chance you pick the right one.

Fair play if it's worked for you. My opinion is that building a team for a specific formation is better than one that is too fluid.

Curious, what attackers have you rotated throughout the season and any specific gw success stories?

done it plenty over the years. especially once value is built and bargains established. I like the flexibility. can give you different in form with good fixture diffs every week

If agree if young was 5.5 or something. 4.9 though, pretty fine margins there. I generally try to have a mid less than 5, but have broken that rule in the past when I felt it was sensible and two players around 5-6 rotated well.

Yep, no point using 2 FT's in 2 weeks on bringing in two strikers. If he doesn't play at all I have Boyd (LEI) off the bench

    Morning all,

With Alderweireld injury, and Soton having 3 away games in next 5, I don't see the value in holding bertrand on WC..

Barring Chelsea,Arsenal and Liverpool, which defenses are worth considering for the run in?

Tough q. The teams with the best fix are pretty rubbish. The likes of Newcastle, west ham, Leicester.... Yuck

yep, im struggling to find a 3rd defender. Got Ospina Terry Skrtel in there... would consider ivanovic normally but im not sure if ill still want him after chelsea wrap up the title, also easier to do fabs->ozil

Who do you think can win this week in head to head:

    Kun(c), Kane, Silva
    or
    Kane(c), Eriksen, Silva, Rose +4

    1. bigbudgie
      • 9 Years

I'm going A cause I think Kun (c) will be a successful call

I'm 2 points ahead, we both have Kun(c) Silva and Kane, but he has Eriksen as well. So an Eriksen blank would make us even.

How does this WC baby look?

    Mignolet
    Terry Azpi Skrtel
    Hazard Silva Sanchez Henderson
    Agüero Giroud Vardy

    Myhill PvA McShane Cork

I'm not sure on Azpi. Maybe Ivanovic instead of Azpi and Bertrand instead of Skrtel if you can afford. If not Moreno

Can't afford either. But lately Azpi has been playing well, getting bonus and seemingly nailed on too. What's not to like?

What's not to like is the fact you had to put the word 'seemingly' infront of 'nailed-on'. He could easily be rotated with Luis,I doubt he will start both DGW games and since Chelsea have basically won the title now Luis could get a decent run out

Fair enough. But that also applies to other Chelsea players.

            I could go Schmeichel/Moreno/Ivanovic instead of Mignolet/Skrtel/Azpi.

Would be very happy with that team in gw34 but azpi would be a worry thereafter. Abit heavy in mid for my liking but great explosive potential. Plus great captain options week in week out.

3 Leicester, 3 Chelsea, 3 Liverpool + 2 City starting next week- Overkill?

    Schmeichel (Ospina)
Ivan, Terry, Moreno ( Clyne, Jenkinson)
Cambiasso, Hendo, Sterling (c), Hazard, Silva
    Kramaric, Aguero ( Kane)

Tell us the strategy for the following weeks.

Good thing is that GW35 Chelsea have CPL, Liverpool have QPR and Leicester have NEW.
      That gives us breathing space.

After a quick 5am scan on Fiso, can't see the likes of Skrtel, Hendo, Sturridge hitting price rise as yet...

Most likely doing Eriksen & Alderweireld to Skrtel and Hendo. But hoping to see how Alderweireld and Remy's injuries are first tbh.

    Any Pool on the rise??

assuming you have a cheap bench fodder mid then yes I think those moves are obvious.

I'm asking the same q v remy to vardy. I'm considering holding him and just switching to giroud next week

Yep have Boyd as my bench fodder.

Yeah pretty much same then. Hold then swap to Giroud, or take the hit on Vardy, and perhaps wait an extra week on Giroud if Vardy does well.

V arsenal, almost definitely. I can't imagine anything else. The second game he might go for a big win.

Obviously things change if arsenal score early. Last night an early manu game would've brought a completely different game.

Going for this WC team barring any news/injuries

    Ospina / Schmeichel
    Terry Skrtel Schlupp PVA Duff
    Sterling Hendo Fabs Hazard Silva
    Giroud Aguero Vardy

Giroud bench Gw34, hendo bench gw 36.

    got 0.5 itb to upgrade

    Schemeichel
    Ivan, *Alderweirald*, Skrtel

When Skrtel is back he will get all the BPS. Double Leicester defence is not something that I would ever think of going with. From what I have been hearing the injury doesn't seem to serious, and if he is out for some time Yoshida could slot in.
