Yeah I never thought twice about benching him tbh. Probably because of his low ownership. I guess it was between him and Kane and I chose the more conservative route and played Kane as a Kane explosion on my bench would hurt me a lot more than a Mata explosion on my bench.

Well you can't really say how good the decision was after the event. We all had to make a decision based on the information we had at the time.
Aston Villa had more possesion then Man City, that tells you something. It was just a bad game all round for City imo, not just Silva.

Managed 43pts today and caught up some ground on rivals. Bit disappointed about Schlupp though! Nevermind. One of my WCless rivals had Kolarov too which frustratingly reduced the difference!
Well the WC has worked well enough so far.
1800's to 1300's with 12 players potentially left to play.
A lot of my rivals brought in some similar players for hits.
A big advantage is having 3.5m in the bank after the WC to mix things up too prob after next week.

I have Ospina and Schmeichel, and cannot see benching Ospina. I think you have to go with the far superior team, even if they are away from home, and even if Leicester are playing well and have a horrid opponent. Both opponents are similarly weak, but Arsenal is much stronger than Leicester. The rest is tricky given your loaded defense. I wish you had the luxury to trade Baines and use that cash to trade either Kane or Vardy to Giroud, but that would require a hit. Not sure what to recommend.
