Get Benteke if it's free, hold Kane if it's for a hit.

Get Kosc in for -4 this week, or wait til next week and play Skrtel instead?

Slightly favouring getting Kosc for -4, a favourabe fixture and Skrtel has Chelski

Also, best 3.8 defender, McShane or Wasil?

    thx

If you think Kosc will get a CS this week, get him.

Give us a hand lads. Team at the moment for GW 36 (BANK = £0.0m, 1 FT):

    Krul
    Terry Skrtel C.Dawson
    Hazard Sanchez Silva Sterling
    Benteke Aguero Kane

subs - Davis, Grealish, van Aanholt, Naughton

    a) Skrtel > Bellerin (bank some cash for the DGW?)
    b) Sterling > Cazorla (only Arsenal MID i can afford with a straight swap)
    c) Sterling & Skrtel > Ramsey & Bellerin (means 3 ARS so no Giroud/Ozil/Caz etc)
    d) Save and play team above
    e) Summat else??

Bit worried about being locked into my 3 Arsenal players if i do that. I'd like to see them play Monday night really before nailing those 3 down for the DGW. Especially if Giroud starts and looks half decent

        1. I think that -4 for Bellerin is too much of a risk

Giroud is gonna be a problem i don't wanna think about at the moment really. Losing one of Kane/Benteke/Aguero is gonna be a serious headache next week. Maybe a little muscle strain for Giroud on Monday night is in order mwahahaha

That's an interesting point, not sure I'd take two hits both this and next GW tbh. Think B is the way to go if you're planning on making space for Giroud next week.

It's gonna be a nightmare deciding. Who would you sell for Giroud if any?

                Kane (HUL eve)
                Aguero (swa SOT)
                Benteke (sou BUR)

I have the same dilemma Dunny, but am looking at getting Kane in for Tekkers that GW for free, then switching back to Tekkers Gw38. Anyway, in your case, I think Kane will score the least of that lot in 2 Gw's tbh. Just can't dispute the form of Aguero and Tekkers right now, both are on fire.

Ooof, tough one here. Ideally would get Rambo/Ozil, but I'm not sure I'd take a hit for Skrtel to get one in IMO, less so if it's for Bellerin and take away from at third Arsnela attacker tbh. I'm not an avid fan of Cazorla in terms of open-play threat, but his stats are noteworthy and he played well. Certainy not my first option, but if for free, in your situation I'd choose him tbh.

B for me here. Though, would a possible Naughton + Sterling --> McShane + Ramsey be possible?

      1. SuperDunny - Used to be goo…
        • 14 Years
        9 years, 2 days ago

Yeah i think Bellerin is a no go really. Left myself in a tight spot after last weeks transfers (although i did get Benteke so can't really complain too much!)

I can afford a £5.7m DEF so plenty of choice if i go with option c), just not sure i wanna take the hit unless i'm gonna get a DGW defender now. I daren't go DOUBLE Sunderland at the back do i?!

        1. No. 😀

          Gomez?

          1. SuperDunny - Used to be goo…
            • 14 Years
            9 years, 2 days ago

That is another option. To just do Sterling > Larsson/Gomez (pens!!)

But then i think i'd find myself benching whoever i get to start Grealish instead. Which makes me wonder why i'm not just saving a transfer! lol

I could even start Grealish this week anyway and bench Sterling but it just doesn't sit right with me

            1. Try to see where you are, next week. If Grealish is your cheap mid, I would certainly do the Cazorla move. 🙂

Yeah Bellerin is very risky move tbh, nice move getting Tekkers. Classy choice!

I'd stay away from option C tbh, think Skrtel is a great choice for (CRY, stk) IMO. Don't think the hit in isolation will be re-payed. Guess that's why I'd go for McShane in for Naughton, relatively rise averse if you hang the hit over McShane's head as Naughton's out and Hull play (BUR) this week. Think that's one of the good bets for a CS this week considering Burnley's woeful attack. Would bench Skrtel in his favor fwiw.

No double Sunderland at the back please!

oooo sh1t you said Naughton for McShane.

Woah yeah i can afford that actually, just. If Ramsey goes up tonight though i can't. Hmmmm decisions.

              Aye 🙂

I'd consider it, but like I said above a lot depends on whether or not you're planning on getting Giroud in IMO. It looks like you'd need to take a hit top get him next week. In that case, I think B is the safe and sensible move here tbh.

This is my team for next week atm. A bit baffled about what to do next tbh.

    Myhill
    Ivan, Terry, Kos
    Hazard, Sanchez, Silva, Sterling
    Vardy, Giroud, N'Doye

Krul, Schlupp, Skrtel, Cork. 1ft and 3m itb

Should getting a Sun player be priority? Was going to get Wickham for N'Doye next GW? Is it worth selling Sterling for the likes of Gomez? Or take a punt with Mirallas or dare I say Newcastle players like De Jong or Cisse if declared fit for 90?

ok if its fun makes it easier-goals per min is good, but i'm expecting newcastle to be beaten at least 3-0 in there next 3 and will be planning accordingly(you already have myhill this week)
its wickhamtime i suppose but i cant get excited about this, you have your 3 ars
with your squad and situation i might just ride the FT till next GW or could you just afford tekkers (for n'doye) this week?Am waiting on news from leics-vardy is superman but how long can he keep playing on those injections?

I'm .1 short of Vardy to Benteke it's painful. I think N'Doye at home to bottom dwellers Burnley this GW is a good match for him. I thought about selling him for Benteke but quite like his fixture. I can't get excited about the Wickham transfer either. Makes sense but I have my mini league won so let's let loose a bit and take some punty transfer AKA Vardy to Wickham. . . . .

This is true. Villa really needed a result from them last gw though and got it to put an end to Evertons great run of form. Sunderland need a result now also. This relegation scrap is very exciting and the likes of Leicester, Hull, Sunderland will put in some big performances I reckon. Southampton fighting for a spot in Europe also and Everton have nothing to play for. Food for thought I suppose.

So, is Hazard in Thailand or is he in Blackpool ?

Shouldn't we be worried that all these Chelsea players are getting 5 days rest and might just play casually the next 3 and end up producing poor fantasy returns ?

Arsenal has 3 home games in next four and Ozil’s big haul all came from home games…

Shouldn’t we be looking at Ozil?

Ramsey & Sanchez are better options imo. Bigger goal threat.

Not to say Ozil isn't a good punt though.

But the problem is I can take Sterling out for someone for -4 but just for this week because at GW37 I need to bring in someone cheap (I´m thinking Gomez from Sunderland) to do Austin to Giroud.

A hit for a one week punt is worthy??

                I have three options:

                A) play both Pool players
                B) bench Sterling and play Boyd
                C) Sterling to Gomez and play him

                Which one you prefer??

But I´m still not sure about that.

Sunderland plays AWAY against Everton and if Gomez gets 2 or 3 points I lose points with a -4 hit.

Maybe I can play Sterling or Boyd or even a 4-3-3 with Schlupp joining Terry, Kos and Schlupp.

    So here's my lot:

    Schmeichel
    Terry Trippier Schlupp
    Hazard Fabregas Ramsey Coutinho
    Aguero(C) Benteke Giroud

    Pantillmon Cambiasso Skrtel PVA

    1FT 0.2 ITB

Original plan was to save the FT and do Fab->Sanchez, Benteke->Defoe/Wickham next week, but now I'm thinking Fab->Silva this week and do the same transfers next week (with Silva instead of Fab) for a -4.
So effectively it boils down to doing Fab->Silva this week for a -4. Worth it?

Literally every highly billed sporting event this week dwarfed the "fight of the century" - CL semis, WGC Match play and the snooker WC. Tbh I saw a couple of cretins having a better fight outside a burger king on the weekend.
