don't pay attention to pre-season, Rooney has always delivered when he played up front. Remember when he scored like 30 goals in one season?!

Rooney doesn't have cheese strings instead of hamstrings

Costa = 1 goal, YC, off 70-80mins = no baps.

And then there them hamstrungs......

Only that whenever Rooney has played up front in the past and I haven't owned him, he's absolutely destroyed me. I didn't really miss not owning Costa at all, last season.

I agree re Rooney but don't think there is a better option in that price bracket. Upside is he is playing as lone striker in an improving team with good fixtures and could be a good captaincy option if he starts well, which he traditionally does.

On the other hand Costa could be another injury nightmare waiting to happen....

Every team I see on here has Rooney yet I have never even considered him. Maybe because Kane and Austin did better last season at half the price.

Would much rather have Giroud, Kane, Benteke, Lukaku etc at cheaper price. I just dont see Rooney doing any better than those to be honest

Good team! defense is a little weak with Ashley Williams at the back Swansea don't have great fixtures.

Nice team. What about downgrading one of your defenders by 0.5m so that you have the scope to straight swap Rooney to Aguero if you want?

I suppose if you're happy with your team you could keep it there.

Could be used on Walcott -> Sanchez down the line, or as part payment for an upgrade to Aguero.

Definitely get a premium defender. Balance and flexibility is key for the start. Make Kos or Ivan happen and bin Ozil

I would see who is firing out of Rooney and Costa, downgrade the one in worse form.
(If there is one). If both are, check Hazard, then wally, etc.

Downgrade one of those and upgrade Rooney or Costa.

Really complicated as that's the reason I'm going Aguero from the get-go.
