The UFPL transfer window shuts this week. Who are the essential players to have in your squad from now until the start of January?

I wish I knew the answer....

Think I'm going to submit an article tomorrow to get some discussion going.

I'm looking at Liverpool+Spurs to cover the later match days. Probably get some Everton players in as their fixtures are decent from about 11 onwards, someone like Lukaku and Stones.

also I am headed away on holidays tomorrow so might not have time to get one in, otherwise would be up for doing it 🙂

Anyone still have Mert? Keeping or selling? If I knew he started next game I would definitely keep, but with possible price drops and Gabriel playing all right I might just as well take a hit to do YYT & Mert > Pedro & Kolarov...

Odds set based on the number of people who bet on the outcome.

Cutting the odds dramatically is a bookies insurance policy.

To be honest cutting the odds on these markets is a bookmakers ploy to get a rush of money on a dud outcome.

You cut the price people hear about it and think that outcome is now more likely then bet and lose their money.

It happens all the time in the "next manager" & "next club" markets.

Who else you gonna buy with less than 6.0? Sako, Redmond, Kouyate? Mahrez is so cheap you can even bench him from time to time without having to sell.

When's the best time to WC - before the internationals or just after when you know which players have been injured

What are your thoughts on Austin potentially going to United? Would United fans be happy about that?

Well, they've been linked to Bale, Pedro, Benzema, Muller and Higuain...so...you know...

Yeah ok a bit of a come down from those types of players but he would be a solid addition non the less.

Would take him, not as if we're going to get anyone better now. He's also a proven Premier League goalscorer with a career goal-to-game ratio of 1 in 1.6 and is better than Felliani and Hernandez.

was all set on bringing in Lovren this week as a play every week defender - but after the shocker against Wham he will probably be dropped right? not sure whether its worth disrupting the rest of my team to try and scrape together the extra cash for a Utd defender? or maybe wait another week and see if M Sakho plays for 4.9?

0 FT, .1 in the bank, team value 101

    Myhill McCarthy
    Darmian Sagna Naughton Morgan Prodl
    Sanchez Silva Pedro Payet Mahrez
    Aguero Wilson (Grabban)

Should I take hit and for who?

Forgetting price rises/falls you look in good shape.

    What should I do?
    A) Benteke/Gomis > Wilson
    B) O'Shea > 4.5m Def
    C) Koscielny > Kolarov/Sagna
    D) Any other players who look good to get for points and price rises

    1. BlzE_94

      Benteke to Wilson

Was 21:40 UK time. Some BS about United putting in a 100m euro bid for Bale.

Decided I'm going for Chadli > Ayew with my FT. Have 0.5 in the bank so I can afford to be patient. Two questions:

    1) It's logical to wait on the transfer, right?
    2) How much value am I going to lose by waiting? Ayew to double or triple rise? Chadli to fall?

Stating the obvious, but Garry Monk has done a fantastic job at Swansea. The players are doing the business, but it looks as though they're doing it for him.
