Anyone fancy captaining Willian against Bournemouth?
BOU has been conceding many goals while Willian is Chelsea's main man atm.

Hazard and Pedro looked the main men and the threats v Spurs. Willian was back to his RM role with 0 goal threat.

Hi 🙂 I am from Montenegro, not sure for any of you though lol I was just browsing the site and noticed you commenting and having Montenegrin flag. How does this thing "TEAM ...country" work at all ? This is my 4th season and I am decent player, top 20k and top 40k last two seasons. I am not interested in mini league competition, but if its a team effort I would gladly join. I intend to become a bit more active community member here..

    Some thoughts on this

    Myhill

    Rojo Moreno Bellerin Toby Targett

    KDB Ozil Hazard Mahrez Firmino

    Kun Iggy Vardy.

    Who to bench in defence?
    Who to bench front 8?
    Who to captian?

    Currently on Rojo Vardy Hazard

Still waiting on fitness of Aguero Coutinho and Lingard however how am I looking right now?

    Stekelenburg
    Bellerin Moreno Rose
    KDB Ozil (C)outinho Mahrez
    Aguero Lukaku(VC) Vardy

    McCarthy Lingard Souare Evans

Have cash in the bank for Vardy >> Kane for next GW which I'm still unsure of, Thoughts on the move?

Team and captain pick looks great 🙂 Team is almost identical!

Keep Vardy for this week at least then monitor that move. It would be a fantastic strikeforce you'll have but Vardy hasn't stopped scoring yet. Re-evaluate next week.

THIS is my problem. How long will this keep up? My original thinking was it would dry up, he obviously cant score in every game but for his price do we stick OR predict the end of the run, a LEI downturn and get off at the perfect moment? Difficult

  8. trequartista

    8 years, 5 months ago

    Who would you rather have?

    A, Kane and Coutinho
    B. KdB and Vardy

Have Aguero/Mahrez and no other L'pool/Spurs coverage-if it helps

    1. Tshelby
      • 9 Years
      8 years, 5 months ago

A because of Kane has better fixtures

    2. Joggers Nipple
      • 14 Years
      8 years, 5 months ago

Oh thats close I want to say B but A seems sensible.

      I have similar (ish)

      A. Kane and Cout (over 2 weeks, Sanch to Cout and Vardy to Kane)
B Hazard and Vardy (Sanchez to Haz)

      Ozil Sanchez Mahrez Stanislas KDB
      Vardy Aguero Lukaku

      1. trequartista
        • 8 Years
        8 years, 5 months ago

        A. Seems very-very tempting

I'm so confused right now myself, wouldn't feel comfortable advising. But I do feel that surely Hazard has to start performing now

        1. Joggers Nipple
          • 14 Years
          8 years, 5 months ago

Exactly the same, i have no right answer or real 100% advice to give to others. I do feel its a big choice and will have a large impact.

What i go back to is this. In my initial team i would love a strike force of

          13m/ 8.5m to 9.5m/ 6.5m

This gives balance to the whole team. This means keep vardy

What do people think are the chances Azpilicueta starts v Bournemouth? He was benched in the last easy home fixture in favour of the more attacking full backs it seemed. Although it was right after the international break so difficult to judge

yes, absolutely mental, because for some reason they feed of being the "underdogs". especially when they conceed first. But with the captain options available this GW, Ozil at home to Sunderland, Pelle at home to Villa, Lukaku at home to crystal palace on MNF and form, Liverpool at Newcastle. sounds crazy not to go for one of the those.

    Ighalo Points When Watford Score | 6 | 9 | 13 | 9 | 7 | 13 | 2 | 5 | 12 = 76/9 = 8.44 pts per game

    Mahrez Away Points/Minutes | 10/81 | 1/45 | 11/90 | 0/0 | 4/45 | 15/90 | 9/88 || 50/439 = 10.25 per 90 mins

My only other options are KDB, Mesut and Vardy. I'm set on Aguero.

Is Sanchez likely to be out for the weekend or longer? Worth shipping out? Fixtures still look great

Longer. There was a great analysis about Alexis' injury by a professional, link to comment in FFS twitter page.

will probably rush him back to play against City but don't think he will be fully fit.

  21. First DGW on the horizon...

Following last nights C1C results we are a step closer to our first DGW 🙂 the teams which could miss their GW28 fixture (end of Feb) are

    Everton
    Manchester City (new)
    Liverpool / Southampton (CHE)
    Stoke (avl)

Now while these teams have the potential to offer us HUGE DGWs and maybe the use of our chips, we should note that in GW28 Liverpool play Everton. An FA cup final between these two would be disastrous and only offer 2 teams with a DGW.

Personally I would love to see Manchester City v Southampton which would give us DGWs for

    Manchester City
    Newcastle
    Southampton
    Chelsea

While we won't know what GW the DGW will fall in it's worthwhile noting this.

Everton V Southampton in the final could be great too mind you

What's your thinking, is Lanzini a decent 4th mid? West Ham's fixtures after ManU are actually pretty good. Planning bringing in Kun, but I don't feel like parting ways with KDB...

He's a decent 4th mid yes, but surely you can afford a better one now that Sanchez is injured? (if you have Sanchez of course)

Also you'll regret losing KDB with Silva back

Yep, already did Alexis -> Ozil. I have too much £ in defense, but I'm afraid sorting that out would take several hits. Mane -> Lanzini would allow me to make only two simple transfer to bring in Aguero.

Don't get Kun in this week anyway.

I'm thinking about potentially going without him until after xmas

I have Lanzini 4th mid but already benching vs United so not sure long term I want him, we'll see

He said he keeps KdB, and compromises for Lanzini as 4th in order to bring Kun.

Not sure about him, he's good, but Westham is in poor form due to all those injuries.

I think Stoke have conceded 7 at home, the same as citeh have scored on the road. This has all the hallmarks of a 1-1 draw funnily enough, KDB's away numbers aren't great. (4)

fairly similar to mine and I'm going for Lukaku. Think Haz is enough of a differential without punting on captain too.

Lukaku - safe option, good prospects
Ozil - slightly riskier, but likely to be the main main for Arsenal at home

Personally, I'd be going for Lukaku... When in doubt, I always feel more comfortable captaining a striker!

      Re: Lukaku.
When looking at CPL numbers when playing a better team, they conceded 2 goals only once (Arsenal), and won a few (Chelsea, Liverpool, both away). Generally, they are not so bad defensively. I'd skip Lukaku this week.

Completed 90 minutes only twice, 3 BAPS, only 2 double figures. For the stats above, you'd like more points return.
Still costs 6.3. Very Good as 4th mid. Debatable as 4th.

Would coutinho be a better option than ozil as Sanchez replacement?
Considering Sunderland's new found defensive strength? That'd mean no arsenal coverage!

    1. Zareos
      • 10 Years
      8 years, 5 months ago

I would go for Ozil. Coutinho has run hot and cold in the past in relation to FPL returns.

There is upside to both options though.

    2. Netley Lucas
      • 8 Years
      8 years, 5 months ago

Ozil is the natural replacement, he's on a great run, ride it out.

    3. DaveVak
      • 12 Years
      8 years, 5 months ago

I would not consider 2 CS in a row 'new found defensive strength'. They do not have good player to defend against heavy heaters. CPL is erratic, so would not count them as one.

That said, Allardyce likes to frustrate Wenger, so he'll park the bus. Still feel Ozil is better long term, while Coutinho is a risk (injury and inconsistency).
