    WC team

    Robles Cech
    Clichy Delaney Simpson Bellerin Sakho
    Alli Sanchez Payet Cout Mahrez
    Kun Luk Martial

Starting 10 in GW35, but Mahrez and Alli are sticking out in this team, good players, but might be missing out on other options?

Potentially only have to play Darlow once, great enabler. Robles with 3 doubles and decent fixtures outside of those.

          I have Robles and DDG
Robles just for this week then DDG for the rest of the season. May downgrade Robles to a cheap 3.7 non playing keeper to free up some funds if I ever have a spare FT
I'm not fussed about a playing keeper in 35, Darlow vs Liv away is a max 2-3 pts anyway

Mitrovic to Wickham then upgrade Bolasie - been declared fit by Pardew and a great punt for this week

    9. Jersey
      • 8 Years
      8 years, 29 days ago

I like the team very much.

I think the frontline is spot on. I know a lot have Martial, and it's east to get hypnotized by his gw34 fixtures, but Mitrovic gives you 1.4 more cash and plays in 35. Plus, if Newcastle are to survive, thet need to score, and he is a goalscorer for sure.

I love the Bolasie punt, and the transfer to Milner. I had planned the same thing until I figured out a way to add one more heavy hitter to midfield. I think your way could work out very well.

I worry about Sakho (and want Clyne), but he played well tonight. I also have Mertesacker fears for Gabriel. The other 3 are solid.

I would try to upgrade Darlow, but that's hard, isn't it.

      Cheers.

    Robles / Darlow

Still tinkering with the ol' WC. Currently on Lanzini as 5th MID, but tempted by Iwobi.

    Robles - Darlow
    Bellerin - Darmian - Sakho - Delaney - Simpson
    Sanchez - Payet - Coutinho - Mahrez - 5.4m
    Aguero - Martial - Lukaku

Thinking Delaney --> Gabriel for GW 34, meaning I can't pick Iwobi as 5th mid and then take a hit for 11 in GW35

    Ozil or KDB

KDB lets me double up on arsenal def... but feel ozil is a differential the way things are going

I'd take KDB given his form (especially if you have sanchez)

How did Sturridge look tonight. Good for the weekend?

    WC Draft. 0 itb

    Migs/ Robles
    Smalling,Bellerin,Gabriel,Delaney,Simpson
    Sanchez,KDB,Coutinho,Bolasie,Lanzini

only came on for the last 10 mins - Origi started, scored and looked very good.
I'd be worries of Sturridge gametime

        Thanks. Other options. Martial,Mitrovic,Wickham.

The last 2 enables Lanzini > Payet.

    How is this looking?

    DDG Darlow/Robles
    Bellerin Gabriel Jagielka Moreno Simpson
    Sanchez KDB Lanzini Firmino/Coutinho Mahrez
    Lukaku Aguero Martial

Alternatives I have considered are Payet/Rashford instead of Lanzini/Martial, or dropping KDB to Payet and upgrading the defence a bit.

sometimes the small margins you miss out on a player bu can be frustrating but they can also be liberating as they help you to make decisions

I am 0.3 off Bolasie, so I have no need to pick between him and Lennon, I just pick Lennon

I am 0,2 away from the cheapest playing Palace defender (Souare) and for 4.1 there's no one better than who I currently have (Simpson) so I may as well keep him

They don't help you make the decision, they're making it for you πŸ™‚

There's always cash to be found, if you change your mind! πŸ˜›

But you're right - if you had exact cash for Bolasie, I bet you'd end up with him just because it's a nice 'fit'.

Winning games is more important than a kid breaking records. Think their best taker will take them. (Herrera?)

Who knows who our best taker is, it may be Mata, but LvG's policy doesn't allow anyone to miss

I would think Herrera will take them if he's on the pitch tbh, but Martial displayed impressive coolness taking that one in the Europa 2nd leg

Henderson on crutches. Crazy how before this season he was arguably the fittest player in the league.
