With just three wins in the opening 19 Gameweeks of 2016/17, the Welsh outfit looked doomed at the midway point until the arrival of Paul Clement.
Appointed as successor to Francesco Guidolin, the new manager chalked up four victories in his first six fixtures to steer his side out of the drop zone. Swansea ultimately clinched fifteenth spot on 41 points – seven clear of relegation, scoring 45 goals.
