“This is how the ScoutCast was meant to be” exclaimed Granville.

He’s not wrong. If you’ve successfully avoided this brand of nonsense to this point, episode 232 provides a less than gentle introduction.

Just don’t expect me to take a beating every week.

That’s certainly what pans out over this lengthy landmark episode which finds me rolling the punches after my “ill-timed” Wildcard.

Granville and Jonty take turns to dish out the blows, while Andy and Az make uncomfortable spectators.

Once the scuffle dies down, we do our best to address the latest community questions, assessing strikers, mid-price midfielders and the latest wing-backs demanding our attention.

But, for once, that forms the undercard for the “big fight”.

          I dont see mbemba getting many more minutes at all.... You would be keeping one of them on the hope our starting players get injured...

          Normally play 4 at the back so one CD will be dropped.

          Clark can cover left back... Manquillo can cover both wing backs

          So for Gamez or Mbemba to get minutes we need atleast 3/4 defensive injuries...

    If one of Holgate or Martina could nail down that RB/RWB (more often a wing back) spot for Everton they look like a good value pick at 4.4 or 4.3 with a very nice short run of fixtures coming up after this week (BOU BUR bha) and long term they look quite favourable too.

    Will they continue to be rotated or will one take over the spot any time soon?

    Already have Carroll, am I mad for thinking Fernandinho? If so, who's better? Still not convinced by Atsu

        True. Fernandinho already has an assist though and I can't stop thinking about that beautiful little ball he put into Kun, who should've scored. Looks more like a deep lying playmaker and City have good fixtures

      Atsu was rested due to the distance he travelled for international duty.

      I expect him to start this weekend. He was our best attacking player before the international break. Murphy didnt make the most of his start so Atsu to come straight back in.

      Best 5.0 option IMO.

      Warning - be careful of the next international break aswell in a few GW's may be ideal time to switch to RLC?

          I personally have Ritchie in my team and im happy with him but with your budget, Atsu is a great choice.

      Mbemba wont get any more minutes (injured and about 4th choice centre back) - wouldnt be surprised if he doesnt play for NUFC every again....

          Maybe go for the 3.9 defender? You are never going to play him and not really any 4.0 playing defenders...

          that 0.1 ITB could be useful in a few weeks!

            Also I would still class Hazard as a risky pick... I personally would prefer wait to see how he does... possibly miss one big score before getting him....

            Id get salah in for the Burnley game then keep the money ITB for Hazard in a week or so?

          Salah and use a little of the money to upgrade mbemba to a 4.5. Since you're on the wc I would think about the long term, specifically the Christmas period when you don't want to be carrying dead weight on the bench as you will likely need 14-15 starters cause of the massive rotation at that time.

      Ritchie the safest pick imo, but if Choupo or Gross get a goal this weekend, there's a bandwagon inc. I'd wait and see (unless you really need to make the transfer now).

      thats a maverick formation...those back 5 could pay off very handsomely. But those mids are dire. very imbalanced team.

        I agree but playing 5 at the back and only 2 MF he could get away with it. He also has 14 players in the mix. I presume he will rotate Atsu an CMoteng and play Antonio every week

        ATM all his mids have a fair chance of firing. The likes of Erik Sallah etc are missing but fairly easy to recover 1 of them.
