Dugout Discussion – Everton vs Burnley

After Arsenal eased past Brighton at the Emirates, we now make our way to Merseyside as Everton welcome Burnley to Goodison Park.

The Toffees’ start to the season has been far from convincing yet they have scored seven goals in their last three home matches across all competitions.

Budget frontmen Oumar Niasse and Dominic Calvert-Lewin – at 5.0 apiece in FPL – are both handed starts but Wayne Rooney’s 11% FPL owners are left disappointed as Ronald Koeman drops him to the bench for the first time this season.

Elsewhere for the hosts, Gylfi Sigurdsson looks to stake a claim for our five-man midfields ahead of clashes with Brighton, Leicester, Watford and Palace in the next five.

But Burnley’s away form will worry the home side.

Sean Dyche’s men have claimed points on the road at Chelsea, Spurs and Liverpool, with Robbie Brady and Chris Wood looking their likeliest source of attacking points.

Like their hosts, the Clarets also have fine upcoming fixtures – they entertain West Ham, Newcastle and Swansea and travel to Southampton in the subsequent five.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

    BPS:
    3 - Ward (40)
    2 - Pope (31)
    1 - Mee (28)
    -----------------
Hendrick (25) to get +3 for winning goal.

    Mee SHOULD get a BAP.

So that's a 'rough' then, got Lacazette for a hit in for Aguero and Mee stays on the bench.

Stephen Ward... The unlikely hero! Him and Kolasinac have re-ignited my gameweek. Now for Ritchie & Salah (and hopefully Firmino off the bench) 🙂

Think I'll keep Mkhi for now as I need to assess Sterling & Sane
    Greater priority?

    A) Burnley def in for Clark, who's collecting cleanies less frequently than Naughton

    B) Choup-moting in for Brady

Keep Brady, CM is overhyped on here.

Burnley defender for the home games. I would take Mkhi out, consider Fellaini.

Martina with 4 points in 2 games since I got him on wildcard. Before then, 1 point in 5 - I count that as a success 😀
