Careering out of the international break at speed, the ScoutCast returns in anticipation of a turning point in our seasons.

We’ve been chattering for several weeks on the much anticipated “fixture swing”, and now we’re all set to put ourselves at its mercy.

What does it mean for our Fantasy line-ups?

In truth, with multiple transfers and Wildcards at our disposal, Jonty, Andy, Luke and myself started this latest episode still seeking our own answers. Over almost 90 minutes and with your community questions providing the steer, we do our best to reach some conclusions.

We weigh up Manchester United exit plans, Liverpool’s blunted attack and Jamie Vardy’s recuperation techniques, before previewing Gameweek 8 in the usual hap-hazard style.

      Silva is the best pick for me. It doesn't matter what's going on with injuries and rests you know he's always going to play.

      I think Silva looks a better buy than Sterling. I suspect that Sterling gets a lot of interest because of nationality .

        I don't care what his nationality is, it's his price I can't afford the others without downgrading Vardy to Rashford, I don't think that's worth it

      Nice. Very similar to mine. I don't expect much from Rashford over the next four fixtures, so would consider someone else around 8.0 until then. I'd consider downgrading Otamendi and upgrading your fourth mid. That way you'll have rotation options and not be stuck playing the same 4-3-3 team every week.

      Gundo could play champs league or EFL fixture, leaving Silva well rested for the Prem. It works both ways really. Nothing is certain with Pep.

    Doing Mooy to Sterling, should I:

    A) Firmino & Mooy -> Abraham & Sterling
    B) Alonso & Mooy -> Simpson & Silva
    C) Alonso, Mooy & Firmino -> Simpson, Sterling & Vardy (-4)

    Getting Silva means I can't do firmino to vardy for a -4 or even next week.

    Players in * are doubts . Salah and Mkhi face each other and Chupo has a bad fixture this week.

    A) take a hit for Mkhi + Morata to Sterling and Jesus (placeholder for Aguero) , have money in the bank . Triple city attack short term.
    B) Save, bench Morata , play Calvert Lewin and Chupo Moting this week , and use 3 transfers next week with a hit and shape up.

    Ritchie will become richarlison soon .

      Sterling has still started 4 of the last 5 though, most of which Aguero was available for. The one he missed, he was suspended for.

    I know Defence is not strong Long term- but with Fernandez/Ward rotating well next few weeks and S'hampton and Leicter fixtures half decent I'm gonna have a go....
    I think Hazard will now come to light with these fixtures/fitness back.
    This uncertainty of Aguero/Jesus i m too unsure... So Vardy it is.
